the superman movies arent good to me because you really cant kill him unless you have kryptonite. thats no fun because it takes the suspense away
Not quite true. It's just that the directors in the past haven't really demonstrated a really vulnerable Superman. I maybe stretching it, but the Christopher Reeve versions of Superman showed a more vulnerable superhero because he fought enemies which rivaled his power. However, a "weaker" Superman would be hard to imagine in his universe. The only time we've seen time show a more weaker version would be Superman pitted against Mortal Kombat's Raiden and other combatants in the DC vs. MK game.
props for the outfit DC finally getting with the times (you can really see batman and superman pairing up realistically now, if they were to do a crossover) props for the actor also...getting fed up with hollywood casting these scrawny, emo-mothafuckas as characters that are usually musclebound in the comics
lol he has a point tho...if you want to make Superman a gripping blockbuster, you need to include enemies who's abilities equaled or even overshadowed his the kryptonite shit is played out..you need a mothafucka on the screen that can throw Supes through walls like in the cartoons
im telling u...that's a budget risk id be willing to make that shit works for harry potter, and it'll work for Superman. you have to make superman 'human,' and have him come face to face with the possibility that he may not be the the biggest, baddest mofo around. you have to have him doubt his skill and ability in the face of overwhelming odds. shit if you introduce a second hero to help, that'll be even sicker
Brainiac would also work. Being a living computer he can created all kinds of energy weapons (red solar) to weaken & do damage to Superman.
Batman is the truth when you get a chance, play Arkham Asylum too...shit'll knock your socks off General Zod, bitches
I'm talking Brainiac himself possibly made of some near indestructible self repairing alien alloy and equipped with the weapons and also maybe being able to alter his form similar to the liquid Terminator in T2 or some other amped abilities. Nothing at all like that stationary computer in Superman 3 creating easily destroyed shit make of conventional materials. The rumor is that Zod supposedly is to be the villain of the movie.
Indeed, but they would require a bigger budget to put those guys in there. The question is...will they be using live actors or computer generated ones? He would be perfect as part of a Superman Trilogy as well. However, Doomsday would be perfect overall. Batman? The truth? Come on petty! When's the last you actually saw a rich white guy fighting crime and for the good of the city? And for the record, Arkham Asylum is delicious! Get Arkham City!
