Minnesota School Faces Lawsuit Over Racist 'Wigger Day'

A Minnesota school district allowed a homecoming event called "Wigger Day," during which students wore clothes and behaved in a manner that "from their perspective, mimicked black culture," according to a federal class action lawsuit filed against the district on Friday.

The plaintiff, former Red Wing High School student Quera Pruitt, an African American, claims that the school's lack of intervention caused her "severe emotional distress including depression, loss of sleep, stress, crying, humiliation, anxiety, and shame."

According to Williams, Pruitt became depressed, quit the cheerleading squad, left student council, skipped her senior prom and even considered dropping out of school.

Williams added that the school district has acknowledged that "Wigger Day" took place in 2007 and 2008, but neglected to prevent the event from happening in 2009.

1. I take it there aren't that many African-Americans in the school.

2. This is how the school and students see black folk.

3. We as black people should "clean up our act" in society.

I can't think of a single race that shouldn't clean up their acts.

 

Every so called race has a group of assholes yet we're the only ones judged by ours. The criminal element in black community only makes up 5% of the population and most of them are youthful offenders. Show another group judged by their negative 5%?
This culture has us believing that all white people are like their top 5% who have white collar jobs when that's far from the truth. That the Chinese are all educated and smart as hell when the majority of their people live in third world poverty when only a handful get the opportunity to go to school.
And why do "we" have to do anything? Why do all black people have to be lumped in with the assholes of said race. No white person ever goes around talking about "we" unless it's all human beings. Hmmm, I think I'd wager that. Back in elementary school, for one whole week we're given a "Free Dress Week" and given that it was a majority black Catholic institution, we had some pretty interesting themes. Here are a few I can recall:

1. Trailer Trash Day - Hillbilly Jethro fatigue

2. Boy-Girl day - Guys get to dress as girls and vice verse.

3. Casual Dress Day - Self-explanatory

There were two other days, but I couldn't remember them all. It was rather interesting.
