It's not anecdotal, I posted the government figures. No, men are not expected to be THE breadwinner by most women. Most women work. And in about a third of families, they out earn husbands. Those are the facts. This isn't 1950

Omar Sharif was the first who came to mind, and he did not just work 60 years ago.

    1. Bread winner doesn't mean I work and you stay at home it can also mean I make more than you and women generally find a guy who makes more sexy. That's fact. Please don't pretend that women look at truck drivers and lawyers the same way or even a doctor and an elementary school teacher the same. As stated earlier women aren't expected to be providers men are. Even if you don't want or need him to be many women feel secure knowing a man can. Men generally don't look to anyone for help it's a sign of weakness.

    2. No one said it's 1950 but in your attempt to be ultra independent I don't need a man feminist you fail to make a coherent point.
The argument was about whether or not men care about what a woman does for a living. The short answer is no. The most important thing is how you treat us and how you look and you're not a liability. Being able to do anything for us financially is rarely if ever a factor. Where as generally women want a man who does well so their lifestyle doesn't suffer. I'm not saying they're looking for a handout but a man with money is attractive to women.
You can say for YOU personally it doesn't matter but not for everyone.

    3. Keep this in mind who has more experience with women? Men or women?

The 50s were his hay day according to wikipedia. When woman talk about the great looking men of old I've never heard his name spoken. Anyone else have?

So you know a couple of mooches...big deal. The fact remains, men (in general) don't look for providers like females do. I really dont know why some of you ladies just can't admit that.

This is the same alternate female WWBM universe where Kirstie Alley is hotter than Kim K, or flat tummies on women are Photoshopped, yet abs and big black dicks are not, so what do you expect.
