I suggest you check out the pictures thread. I'm not the only one on there who doesn't fit the description.

I'm 52. My son isn't anywhere *near* having kids, he's not married, his girl is still in school and they've got a long road ahead even if they marry before they'd be in a position to consider children. I figure grandma age is at least a decade away, unless like that trash in the other thread you're talking about people reproducing when they're barely into puberty.

My own grandmothers were in their 60s and 70s when I was born

Ummm I didn't say you were an actual grandmother just grandmother age. Your three years away from AARP lol. My grandma was 48 when I was born and my mom wasn't a teenage mom she was 26

Well considering the response I got when I posted my pic, it seems most people here didn't think I looked like anyone's grandmother, and neither do most of the over 40 women from the US posting here.

For someone so steeped, and rightly so, in dislike stereotyping of black men, you're sure quick to jump on other types of stereotypes with a fast nod of your head.

Actually, AARP eligibility starts at 50. You'll hear from them soon enough

Trix are you purposely ignorning what I wrote? I never you or anyone else looked like anyones grandmother. I just said you were grandmother age. And what stereotype am I using? I just said if this site were a microcosom of the demographic most of us prefer to date in the majority of women who date bm live outside the US.

You were quick to jump on the original poster's comment about WW in the US who post here looking like grandmothers and outweighing him two to one. I *know* you know that isn't true.

I don't think he meant it literally. I think his point was that a lot of US women are far out of their prime and/or pretty overweight. I'm sure its true for a lot of the men too but it just illustrates the point that a lot of American women don't generally see bm as first rate choices. Just saying.

Good to see that somebody here gets it. People want to play dumb, but they know exactly what's up. The overwhelming odds are that when you see a woman like Serinda Swan who's open to dating brothers, she's not American. Shit, I'm not even talking long-legged model types. There are barely any American WW in their prime who'll give a brother a shot. When they do, it's never going to be with a black man who's their social equal. They'll only go for a dude who's bankroll and education dwarfs theirs. Mechad Brooks is a young, good-looking Hollyweird up-and-comer who seems to have a bright future ahead of him. You think we'll ever see him with a young, white American starlet on his arm? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA Diss all you want. Y'all know that I'm right.

I just think that younger brothers should avoid wasting their time on a scene where they don't have a chance. Shit, wasn't there a brother who used to be on this forum who went to Russia to meet a WW? Like I said. Y'all need to stop fronting.

Do you have a 'top notch WW'? Just wondering since you care so much for the well being of the rest of us.

You make your own chances, Freddy. If you're consistently not attracting what you think you want, the problem may not be with "everyone else."

Anytime you blame a whole group (BM, WW, Americans, Gays, etc) for something personal you're experiencing, you might want to stop and think.

Just like bm who have a hard time finding a job in this economic climate. The problem isn't with the overall outlook of black people as a whole just the way we carry ourselves. I don't think there's an eye roll big enough for your post Trix. I'll remember that next time a hear a woman complain about not getting paid fairly.

I'm surprised guys feel this way. I can't speak for the European women here, but I think in regards to America it could even be the other way around sometimes.

If I lived in a racist town where everyone would look down on me for dating a black man, I'd probably have come to this site a lot sooner just for an outlet, to find someone who could understand my preferences.

But I lived in an area where interracial dating was largely seen as acceptable (not that I haven't been insulted before, just a lot less than I hear others have to endure), and I had plenty of friends to talk to about my experiences with dating black men. My friends were all eager to listen, and I was eager to tell my stories. So I didn't really need to look online for resources because my social circle was so accepting of my preferences.

Now that I've moved to a new city, I don't have that consistent group of friends to chat/gossip about sex and romance with. At least, we can't get together every single day or week. I'm making new friends here pretty fast, but if I had never moved I never would have come to this site.

Also, I think TreePixie is very beautiful, and I must assume you guys have some sort of unrealistic standard set for what you want here. It's like you're expecting the women here to all be 22 year old blondes just drooling over black penises, or something. This is real life, guys. We come in all shapes, sizes, and ages, and our needs are a bit more complex than that.

I hope I look as good as Pixie as I age. Combined with her confidence and self worth, I think any man she meets is lucky to have her.

And for the record I think that PLENTY of young, hot WW in 2011-12 consider black men just another viable race of man that they can date. If a brother carries himself well and acts accomplished, the world is his oyster. If he wants to act like a no-good thug, high-quality women will shun him.

We can't let the microcosm of one message board or the Internet dictate how we perceive things to be.

I know, I almost didnt write anything because I didn't want to insult her. It's not something any of us like to talk about, but you guys dug the knife in pretty deep here.

I think Pixie looks 10-15 years younger than she actually is. I hope, at any age from now until the end of my life, I can fit that description.
