If money/employment/etc. were no obstacle, where would you like to live and why?

Either Melbourne or Sweden where the ww are plentiful and the government actually does what it's suppose to do

Korea, just for the fuck of it.

Germany, just for the fuck of it. My friend is getting stationed. I was like "you lucky fuck".

Japan, just for the fuck of it.

The UK. If money were no object at all, probably London, but in lieu of that Cardiff, Wales or Scotland.

I'd have condos in Berlin (main residence) and L.A. and a summer home in the Caribbean.

Don't forget the why! I'm always curious to know what places people like and what they like about them.

(And LA is on my short list as well but for the traffic.)

So many choices but I think my next destination will be Central or South America. I have never lived in a spanish speaking country before. I would like to improve my language skills and I love the dancing.

Good choice... there are lots of great places there. I'll always think fondly of Buenos Aires, in part because they sometimes serve coffee like this:

    In no particular order:

    Central America
    South Africa
    Australia
    Hawaii
    South of France

I moved from Chicago to Florida because I fell in love with Florida... I'm still very happy here. Those are just other options for consideration.

or... put me in a hut on a beach as far away from society as possible and I'm good.

I actually like where I live. I would probably go for some lazy beach in the US purely for dating purposes

I'd live in Denver full-time. Why? I lived there for 6-7 months several years ago and I love that you can walk out of your house and see mountains. I love the mountains. Great skiing, hiking, beauty. Oh, and I love big open spaces way more than living near cities.

I've never been to Ireland (it's on my bucket list), but I can't see why I wouldn't want to live there, too, if I were to go there.

I'd love to have a place in Jerusalem because it's such an amazing place.

I would also keep a place in Neuchatel, Switzerland. I have fond memories of that place. It's beautiful there (near Lake Neuchatel) and it's conveniently located to visit other parts of Europe. :smt023

If I am a dirt poor bastard then I would rather chill in these countries than be stuck in USA,

    Spain
    Cuba
    France
    Brazil
    Australia
    Germany
    Puerto rico
Any of spanish speaking south American countries
    Vietnam
Francophone of North and west African countries
    Portugal.

If I wake up as a rich bastard with 1/64th money of one of the airhead socialites, then Socal all day everyday with a British maid and southern belle waitress, lol

I'm in Colorado Springs, which is about an hour by car from Denver, and even closer to the mountains. I have a lovely view of Pikes Peak from my house. You can be in the mountains in about 20-30 minutes from here. They're too far away from Denver for me. :)
