Why do men primarily do this to their ex's??

As you know, I posted the first response of non-agreement, but I won't support people being rude. As I already said, in the end I think the tone regarding the topic is different now, because we commented and questioned one another.

I'm not trying to police anyone but I think there's too much of this going on already. IMO, we all need to comment on bad behavior, regardless of gender, and regardless of the topic, yes?

I have never spoken to you the way you spoke to her. I think that you would have a hard time convincing me of that one. On the other hand, you and others have often been rude to me and others. I have disagreed with you only, or I have repeated what you have said. It seems that you are defining rudeness based on your own set of criteria. Obviously, the truth is rude for you.

You're such a charmer. No wonder the women are just climbing all over each other to get to you.

THANK YOU. We're discussing issues in a pretty straightforward way and trying to make some sense of a difficult issue.

No, that's not the issue. When you talk about something that's steeped in a situation I address it. I've also raised the issue of returning troops, we've discussed post partum depression, mental illness...none of that is feminism

    Don't be a dick.

Gun ownership. No. I won't ever date or marry a man who thinks that he needs to have a weapon in the house. I won't even date a hunter. Hell to the no.

But you go ahead and enjoy yourself. Just don't come anywhere near my house with that instrument of death. Concealed weapon permits would never be honored in my home, either.

Yes. Exactly. People just don't want to admit the importance of feminism and why we still need it. Some people are actually delusional enough to believe that there's equality (just like racial equality, right?). The fact that in 2011 there's even a debate about a woman's right to choose and why women make less than men should be as plain of a reason as the nose on face.

But, not everything is feminism. It would be nice for people to recognize that.

Um, as an owner of a .357 Taurus for 14 years and formerly Act .235 Certified and also experienced in shooting a shotgun and a .44 Magnum Ruger...no sweetheart, I don't see your chauvinist point. [IMG]

And yet, that's EXACTLY the kind of man I would marry (and did)...lol, go figure.

In fact, my ex-boyfriend and I used to go gun shopping and shoot at the Range together. My BFF has her gun, too. Having lived alone, I can tell you my gun has been my bodyguard if I ever heard a noise outside or downstairs.

    (but I despise hunters)
