although I do wish I went to a smaller university and played college football (you're not playing for PSU unless you're able to play in the NFL basically). If I can make a decent high school team, how hard could that be?

well let me break it down for you and the other brainchild that doesn't quite understand that for all the highschool athletes that hope to get an athletic scholarship to college or university...many are left behind empty handed...for all the college and university athletes that hope to make it into the pros...only a select few make it...once you make it into the pros then you have to earn your position...lots of guys sitting on the bench...practice...go to training camp...rarely get minutes...

vick sat for 18 months in jail...the tax payers paid for his room and board...he worked out every single day...you are surprised he came out ready to play and hoping to get back on a team...luck got him back into the NFL...all of those teams could have passed on him...the NFL could have said no to him ever playing the game again...so if you fellas don't think that vick is a lucky bastard then you are not seeing this for what it could have been...that is that his football career could have ended with dog fighting...

you sure it was luck, or the fact that Mike Vick was NFL caliber (in possession of great football skill..jesus play Madden or something to see how ratings are broken down) before jail, and NFL caliber afterwards? The reason guys go into the NFL is because their attributes (and accomplishments) are physically measured and compared against others (the same thing happens in HS, and the same thing happens in college). Watch the NFL combine and get a clue.
