    Who is Linda Hamilton?

Isn't she like a washed out, has been actress? Has she had any hit since T2? lol

If she was a washed out actress, she would be doing Reality TV.

She's currently doing something on NBC as a recurring character.

From movie star to TV actress, to me that is a step down.

It's a matter of perception. But consider this...TV series often give actors better longevity and more opportunities in the entertainment business. Movies...especially nowadays...if you're planning on doing any...it's more of a step down than being on a TV series. But it depends on the role and position too.

Movies are considered high caliber job, you work less, make more money and get big fame. But a TV job is a step down unless you are in a very popular show & you get paid serious deniro, like 2 and 1/2 men, friends, seinfield, etc...A recurring character role on TV does not spell out stardom to me.

Don't be a smug, arrogant prick.

Linda Hamilton has accomplished more in her career than 95% of most working actors/SAG members.

People love to talk shit about working in Hollyweird like it's so easy and about as complicated as working a 9 to 5 at the Post Office.

Oscar Award winner Kathy Bates stars on a TV series currently. Actors act, whenever and wherever they can.

Never realized how many children are lurking on this board.smh.

Clue, most actors nowadays don't hold any special distinction or regard between working on the small screen versus the big screen.

    It's a job. Period.

Shows like Oz, Dexter, Six Feet Under, the Sopranos and The Wire blurred those career distinctions years ago, which used to mean that working on the small screen usually meant inferior scripts, production values and directors.

    Actors respect directors and scripts.

Only dumbass tabloid readers think the size of the paycheck equates to the quality of the product seen on the screen.

After the divorce settlement that she got from James Cameron, she hasn't had any need to work. This brother should jump at the chance to be her kept man. LOL

I might be a prick but not arrogant or smug, so fuck out here with that bullshit.
Having said that, I do agree with shows like Oz, Six Feet Under, the Sopranos and The Wire blurring major distinctions. But still tho you ain’t gonna see Julia Roberts, Sandra Bullock, or Michelle Pfeiffer coming to TV near you.
Also I never said the size of the paycheck equates the quality of the project. There are lots of quality films that bomb at the box office but are high caliber work and vice versa.

Truth, this def. I can agree with.
