If you think so little of women, why do you want to be in a relationship with one?

A number of the women got fuckin schooled in this thread(especially DB). Some of you ladies need to take an Econ 101 class or something. Get caught up on the idea of supply & demand then get back to us.

hell like I stated earlier TW fucked it up. lets get it clear.....TW went to her. she didnt hound him. she was a nanny to some family friend of a fellow golfer to tiger. Tiger asked the fellow golfer to introduce him to her. she played her cards rite and married the dude.

he fucked her over and she got the cash and married another. who ever made the thread made it a racial issue.

what ? she is to stay on the black side ? hell get it where you can. fuck it

Don't refer to me. You know nothing about me. The economics argument is a bullshit cover up so you all can be sexist and think it's validated.

I'm sickened by the whole thing.

Buts not it a bs cover up. Its fuckin logic. And I'd say you lack logical thinking if you cant understand why Tiger is worth so much.

I'd say the same in regards to female celebs that are in high demand. They deserve their money (example Maria Sharapova)

I can totally understand how people can differ on this issue. I just felt that it was important to prevent a "you take care of me" dynamic within our relationship. In my opinion, unequal power distribution is one of the biggest seeds I have seen for contention in a couple. At some point, the working parent/partner becomes the 'parental' unit, 'allowing' the other to have spending money, relieving the 'primary caregiver' so they can have 'a break', and the like. I didn't want an atmosphere in the relationship where she was viewed as 'responsible' for the care of the child, with no public life, while I was the primary public actor, with a life beyond the family confines. It just makes me feel too... Taliban-ish. LOL. I know I'm generally an outlier on gender and relationship issues amongst most of my friends, so I know this may sound flaky to some.

I feel that even though you may use a daycare provider, parents are the child's primary bonding and interaction based on the first few months and I don't think that daycare breaks that. My son was there from 3 (or was it 6?) months and is very attached to his parents (at least from what I've seen - lol). Plus, my ex was very interested in resuming her career, which is one of the primary reasons she came to the States in the first place. I didn't want to stand in the way of that. But you did say that it was dependent on your ex wanting that, so fair enough.

States use that proportional support model in general these days. So I understand if a millionaire has to pay a whole lot in child support even if it exceeds the actual cost of his children's care. What I don't get is alimony for maintaining an ex-spouse in "a lifestyle to which she's become accustomed". And that goes for men getting alimony as well. I don't think anyone should get a dime beyond the compensation they merit based on time away from the workforce for child-rearing.

True but I just cant stand some of the lack of basic logic and ignorance in this thread

but you are right, I'll just agree to disagree with her.;)

the only thing about that is how long should you support them. I dont believe in alimony because if she is working then why should she get alimony. alimony is a bunch of bullshit. especially if they divorce because they couldnt get along.

They won't let me rep you again until I spread it around. You're no outlier, and you are bang-on about what easily can happen to the dynamics when one person stays home and the other works. And then if the relationship dies? The one who was at home is in major trouble because s/he doesnt have current job skills and experience.

then would it be too much to ask that the men take a marketing class...supply and demand is a crossover to economics...i'm really surprised that you are not better informed on endorsements...a company expects to get a return on their investment...if the "person" selected to endorse has damaged their reputation then not all the earned or god given talent in the world helps with the value of a bad name...bad press...

many talented athletes get caught up in drugs...weapon possession...illegal dealing...can anyone say dog fighting...vick will not ever get another endorsement even if he wins a superbowl...it just won't happen...
