I know my boyfriend likes Anime and he really wants me to watch it at least every once in a while. So I was thinking, as Anime characters are mainly white (not even Asian) -have you ever seen one with a black male dating a white woman?
Good luck finding that. The closest one would be Afro Samurai, but you won't get much romance from there. And count out hentai.
Wow. You know, I find it very interesting that the Japanese draw Anime characters living in Japan etc, yet, that are white . The typical white persons big blue/green eyes, long legs, light hair.. definitely no Asian. I find it sad as they put down their own race. Surely not even showing black people either. How come? Do you know of any other cartoons?
No, most anime characters are Asian, especially if the story is set in a historic or pseudo-factual setting. I've read that they just don't like portraying themselves thus why many characters look white, but they still have Japanese names. Now for the question, if you consider Teen Titans anime, then yes there is a episode with Cyborg with a non-black girl. But other than that I can't think of none on the top of my head, but if you are into that type of stuff, I suggest looking at the plethora of hentai drawings portraying popular anime girls with sex scenes with black men. The Japanese artists seem to have MORE ir drawings then American artists. And alot of them are drawn quite well with perfect anatomy. And other than the sexual drawings there is also non-explicit drawings which are beautiful IMO.
In American cartoons, they have started doing MORE ir relationships, specifically between black men and non-black women. Even though she aint white,the titular character of The Life of Juniper lee, had a black boyfriend. The trend started back in like 2004-5. When I was growing up their were very few, if any onscreen IR relations.
There was also something called: The Secret Saturdays. You might find it posted somewhere online. They were actually an interracial family. Not an anime, but it could be the closest we'll get to what you're looking for.
There may not be interracial anime but they have a lot of interracial porn, i think they are as obsessed with it as a subgenre as the white guys who are obsessed with interracial porn over here.
Tenjo Tenge is the only one I can think of regarding interracial relationships. This guy named Bob makihara has an interracial relationship and lives with this japanese girl.
This. A story revolving around that kinda thing in anime, shit ain't gonna happen. You might see a couple like that as background characters. Not many animes will have white women(the characters look white, but they are still Asian). You're more likely to see a black man in anime (and that isn't that frequent either). It'll usually be stated that the person is white (like in Beck).
I think he was supposed to be half japanese. If you bother with TT, I'd suggest the Manga before the toon.
