The reason politicians fund stadiums with tax dollars instead of schools is because the fruits of tax dollars going to stadiums can yield during a politician's term in the form of employing construction workers, vendors and local business around the stadium. While the fruits of funding education dont yield till the child is an adult in the workforce. Well after the politician has moved on.
