Handbags, ladies??

I love BIG bags..... This is a nice one and I bet you rock it...

 

this is the last hand bag i got ..

nothing special but perfect for everyday with jeans

got some jeans from the same shop also

 

Nyx, that bag is gorgeous. It looks so soft to touch too. I have a couple of bags similar to that and I love them a lot. They really are great bags to wear with jeans.

OMG I just died and went to fluffy bag heaven. Prada have brought out this...



The Prada Eco Mongolia Garden Tote. Oh my goodness.....I want it! It's faux fur (which I'm grateful for) and needs to be in my hand ASAP! Sadly even at $995 it's out of my price range. LOL Still...I can dream.

 

As much as I love her bags, I'm done with her. I have four of hers (one is an overnight one) and 3 out of four didn't hold up for long. Anywhere I went though, people complimented me on it.

Her hubby Bob's are outrageously gorgeous, but too much $$$.

I have a few of Miss Tina's which people often compliment, and they hold up really well.

Just tonight, my BFF#2 came over with a new Badgley Mischka that I kid you not, was $270 reduced to $20 as a return - the inner lining on the bottom was torn.
Beautiful bag.

I also like Michael Rome (have 4 of his), I like Whiting and Davis bags, Sharif bags are often lovely, as are Chi by Falchi's and ofcourse *Coach (*generally out of my price range though).

I had never heard of Vera Bradley until I worked in an office where every woman there had at least one of her bags. Just last night at the U2 concert, I talked to a woman about her VB bag. It's like since I discovered her, I now see them EVERYWHERE.

 

Do you have TJ Maxx? I have seen them there. My sister likes them but I have to say she had trouble with the strap on one and they didn't give good customer service.

yes the bag is soft .....and you are right goes perfect with jeans
that's a reason i bought the hand bag, and it was very cheap....nice for for everyday.
I will be going again to the shop to buy more stuff ...maybe for the summer now.

We do have TJ Maxx, ty..I'll have to check in there to see if they have them. I know Boscov's here do, but they still run about $120 there.

IMO, the Elgin Studden Handbag is the best one there and it's only $25.

 

Mikey, I think pretty much all of us women here currently have, or have at some point bought, cheap handbags. But the good quality expensive ones are always the dream.

I'm of the opinion that (if you can afford the bag of course), if you see a bag you like, you should buy it, even if it's a $5 bag cheapo bag from a 2nd hand store. LOL The important thing is that you like it and will wear it.

But I dream, oh how I dream, of one day owning a designer bag. It's so insignificant, but would make me so happy.

It's the studs. Too much shiny = tacky.

this one is a small one and not like most large women's purses that you can get to narnia.

 

I got this bag in December and I've barely used another bag since. It's Alexander Wang.

Other than that I have been using a vintage leather book bag I found at a cute store in London last year. I'm not a big fan of loud bags with loads of print of logos. I prefer simplicity.
