Human beings really are the worst animals on the planet. I've always thought that. But I'm grateful that there are still some people around who treat animals with great respect and love, and it's those people who need to weed out the evil assholes who do this shit.

Speaking of women abusing animals....I did work placement at the local RSPCA here and one of the workers there abused a kitten who was probably about 4 or 5 weeks old. Why did I not report it, you ask? Because the other staff members including the inspector were standing with me in the same room when it happened. ALL saw it and ALL laughed, except me who damn near cried.
She was trying to get a weight on the kitten, because their mother died and they were being cared for (supposedly) by the staff there. The kitten, being a kitten, was wriggling around, so she belted it over the head (and she's not a small woman, if you know what I mean) and screamed at it to "stop fucking moving" then she grabbed it by the scruff and THREW it into the cage.
Fucking bitch is suppose to be working with an organisation to help animals, but she treats them like garbage. The other staff told me "oh, she just doesn't like cats, that's all. She's ok".

These pieces of shit are everywhere, people. Everywhere.

 

people like these are sick f*^ks and I wish I could be in a room with each one so I could f*^k them up! I HATE CRUELTY TO ANIMALS!! It makes absolutely no sense to me, and why the hell would someone work with animals if they hated them so much? That kind of worker is the scariest kind, because no one is checking for them. But they're doubly disgusting just for that fact. I would have said something to her face right then, but I respect why you were somewhat stunned...I hope she's no longer staff there.

Honestly, if you take the details of the video content that I bolded in post #4 - and replaced it with babies or the elderly, the exact same abuse happens to them by similar minded 'family or caretakers'. It's basically done to those that can't physically speak up, which is why we have to step in and protect/ speak for them.

I was watching a documentary called "Earthlings" that touched on speciesism and humans treatment of other living creatures on this planet. I tried watching it 3 times and could not bring myself to finish it. Some of the scenes that they showed, particularly at slaughter houses made me wonder how many meat eating animal lovers would go vegan or be more cautious with purchasing leather if they had any idea how these animals are really treated.

I guess it's sometimes easier for people to just not know...

 

As long as the meat is cooked and tastes good and beneficial since it brings protein to the body...
