Thanks. This whole conversation is just ridiculous...and I hear some form of it all of the time- on forum and off. It just gets aggravating to read it.

Yes, you missed the part about wives only being good for blowjobs and sex.

In fairness, this is how Whickle feels. ^^ (bolded)

As for Elin helping his image, Tag Heuer (expensive) watches signed him on in '02 and he was engaged to Elin at that time. Assenture began with him in 06 - they also dropped him. Their belief was always that Woods personified attributes of high performance and integrity. So his infidelity and blatant disregard toward his wife refuted that.

I think Tag Heuer also summed it up pretty succinct...
"We recognize Tiger Woods as a great sportsman but we have to take account of the sensitivity of some consumers in relation to recent events"....and "he is no longer the right representative."...

*BTW, I think after all his fucking around, the mattress endorsment might not be such a bad idea. :p

I want my my 20 percent damnit lol.
I know Taguer and others probably endorsed him because of his family but again I doubt it was 100 million dollars worth. Before Lebron Tiger was the most fiscally endorsed Nike sportsman at 80 million and that was to my knowledge his biggest endorsement and he got that for WInNIng. And truth be told I doubt anyone was really buying buicks and watches because of Tiger but Nike was printing money because of that dude.

Youre looking at athlete's pay the wrong way.

A product or brand's "worth" is always determined by what people will spend to acquire whats being sold. Its really not a matter of interpretation.

Take the NFL lockout for example...Some say the athletes are spoiled and make too much money. But where does the money go if not payed to the athletes? The owner's pockets. Why? Because an audience feels the product is WORTH their money. So are the owners then worthy of billions? If not, should the money then be burned to spare such "ridiculousness"?

    1. If she could have gotten more she would. What's in it for her to show mercy especially when its greddy lawyers who make these deals.

    2. Are you seriously looking for compensation from men because its your natural niological function to carry children? Look Ms Pregnant bellies make you ill you aren't doing men a favor by having children so get that horseshit out of your head. You were designed to do that so get your tubes tied and quit whining. The nerve lol.
And you know why killing the Mastadon makes you more important? Because you'd from starvation without it genius and you're required to do it far more frequently than giving birth. Sheesh

Actually the majority of calories coming from hunter/gatherer and agrarian societies came not from hunted or scavenged meat, but from plants, and women did the gathering, and also founded agriculture.

This is silly. A woman should get paid to have a baby. Bah.....she did not rate 100 milion (or what ever it is) simply because she fucked a Billion dollar man. Pay for his children.......yes. But she's a millionaire cuz she banged tiger and his children. not seeing it happen.

And then you turn this into some feminist rally cry, doing so while damn near all of your tits are showing. STOP. Hundreds of years? I has nothing to do with her being weak, or expendable....and as for as being the one with the uterus its not like he made her take his sperm. And if she should get the money because she had his children...

...then he should get his children since she got paid.

I do understand how it works, but my argument is about his worth and whether those multi-millions are really hard earned dollars. MF and others are going on an on about how Tiger worked hard his whole life earning those millions, how dare his wife think she's entitled to any of it when she didn't lift a finger. Did he have to lift a finger for product endorsement? Barely. That money isn't earned as much as it's a happy side-dish to a natural talent.

Your stock standard response whenever a woman disagrees with you. It's old, MF, get a new line.

Um no I say that to men too victim. Slow down. When your argument is all passion without substance then what would you call that?
And he barely lifted a finger to earn his endorsements? That sounds like some straight hater talk Whik.
I don't know if you've ever known any professional athletes or excelled at any sports when you were younger but that shit takes an enormous amount of hard work and dedicaton especially when progress is measured in centimeters not miles.
I think I've mentioned this before but my little brother is a professional athlete and I never appreciated the dedication he's put in until recently. Again when the rest of us were watching tv or bullshitting around my little brother was outside running and practicing long jumprs for hours daily. His focus would rival and surpass most doctors in my opinion because unlike most cerebral professions sports are a pipe dream until you actually make it. You have to believe in something that has been proven won't always work out in your favor and might end up being decades of your life working towards something that won't pan out. People like you watch the end result and think that doesn't look that hard why are they getting paid that kind of money because it is that hard and should have a little more respect for what they do.

What metric do you use to give a value to "hard" ?

MF, I don't think she's talking about the millions he's made on the golf course. I don't think she's knocking his dedication to becoming the best golfer in the world.

She's commenting on the millions he makes as a spokesperson for however many different products. Yes, he's making that money because of the hard work and dedication he's put into being a golfer BUT, those millions come because he wears Nikes on the golf course, or he spends an afternoon shooting a Buick commercial, or is seen drinking Gatorade after winning the Master's. THOSE ACTS (which any Joe Schmoe could do) is where, I would venture to say, most of his money came from.

Yes, he got those endorsement deals because he's a phenomenal golfer. And yes, he put in an unbelievable amount of time to becoming that phenomenal golfer. No one is diminishing that fact. But to make a Buick commercial requires hardly any skill and to be seen wearing shoes, drinking a drink, requires zero skill IN THE ACT ITSELF, but nets him millions upon millions of dollars.

NO ONE is knocking his hard work getting to the point where companies want to throw money at him for endorsements, but the millions he's made through the acts of his endorsements is not the "hard" part, so it's not as "earned" as the money he has made on the actual golf course.
