If he was stupid enough not to have an ironclad pre-nup, under those circumstances, it's no wonder she took whatever she could get. He's insisting in the divorce settlement that she remain under a gag order, and she's not getting near half of their estate:

Here's my huge problem with threads like these. Its just meant to incite. He moved on and she moved end of story.
Personally the idea that any person believes they are entitled to what someone else earned is amazing to me. I don't care if I fucked your mother and your sister on cspan its not worth 100 million dollars of my wealth that's just plain ridiculous. You don't get compensated for doing your job as a mother thats absolutely disgusting that any woman would think she's entitled to money for being a mom. Say what you want about Elin's modeling career but homeboy met her at 27 when the vast majority of models are retired and she was a nanny so lets not pretend she would have been living the lifestyle of a hundred million heiress without dudes money.
You guys know how I feel about cheating and think what Tiger did was down right disgusting but let's keep this shit in perspective. These are two incredibly rich people who wouldn't piss on a single one of us to put us out if we were on fire.
I don't feel bad for either one. If you don't believe his money and fame weren't contributing factors to why she married him then you must be deaf blind and dumb and living in a bubble. Welcome to planet earth.

 

And this right there ladies is why one should NEVER be a stay at home parent. If taking care of your kids and your husband is going to be a free-labor job (they used to have a word for not getting compensated for your work), and by staying home you risk your own money making skills getting rusty, then don't do it.

This isn't how it happened, she was watching some dude's kids that knew Tiger and Tiger's homeboy hooked him up. It was Tiger "good friend." RIIIIIIIIIGHT. Tiger's good friend got on TV and dogged the shit out of him.

...and the real story is Tiger pushed up on her. Not the other way around. She was working fro Jesper Parnevik, Tiger saw a picture and was like "Come on dog, you are my hommie...hook me up" and he kept on askin' dude one day dude hook him up and that was it.

I'm actually with you. I'm sorry......and lets be honest her modeling career wasn't that great. She was a damn nanny. Plain and simple. She didn't do shit for his career, she wasn't a socialite, she ain't do shit for his name....she ain't do shit but fuck Tiger.

And I am not even sure why she was granted automatic custody of his kids. That's some other bullshit.

Check the link I posted - she's getting $100mn, not 750. And I believe she's got physical custody, but not full legal custody.

And I agree, especially with his history of having a revolving door on his bed, that he shouldnt be allowed (and neither should she) to bring people in and out of the kids lives - it's bad for kids.

And she's had to sign an agreement never to speak or write about their marriage and/or his infidelity even after his death.

That means it's probably part bribe. It is worth more to him to keep her quiet. Having her talk could cost him more than to pay her off. Ok guys what could he have done that was so embarassing that he would agree to less than favorable conditions??????

 

That right there is the bottom line.
Whatever agreements they hammered out after agreeing to divorce because of Tiger's own personal choices is on them.

Its all relative to the lifestyle they lived. I have a hard time feeling any angst for Tiger.

My uncle has been raising a child since the mid 90's that is now a teenager.

The woman lied and said the child was his, when he went to court years later after paternity tests showed it wasn't his child and by then he was married to another woman, the state of Texas said he had formed a bond with the child and had to keep sending monthly child support checks for a kid that is not his. So to this day he has been shelling out a monthly check for that child that is some other man's kid.

That sticks in one's craw, given the background of the story, being lied to by the woman.

 

Yes. When a woman gives up whatever her job is to take care of home, children and husband, then they should share equally in whatever he earned during the marriage. And this, by the way, goes to the reverse. If a man is a stay at home dad, and takes care of kids, house, wife, then when they divorce he ought to get half of what she earned during the marriage. Equal partners.

And the kids should certainly be able to live at the same level of comfort they did before the divorce.

What cracks me up is that damned few custodial parents actually get *any* alimony, and most of them don't end up getting the full amount of child support the kids are entitled to and granted by the court. In my particular case, I took "everything"....which was $30,000 worth of debt my ex ran up on my credit cards. And he didn't pay child support, even though it was mandated by the court - every time they'd start taking it out of his paycheck, he'd quit the job. After 2 years of chasing him in and out of court for child support only, I decided it wasn't worth the time/money it was costing me, and that time was better spent on my own career, moving up the ladder to a point where I didnt *need* his damned money to provide for my son.

BTW, I just finished putting my son through 5 years of college. He has ZERO debt - I paid out of pocket for the entire 5 years.

 

MrF I think she does, based on the fact that Tiger was the one that cheated on her and broke their marriage vows.

He had her living a certain lifestyle as wife and the mother of his children.

If she had dogged him out, cheated on him, been a shitty parent then one would have to question.

But she wasn't in the wrong, Tiger was, based on what we know she was faithful to him, he wasn't to her.

This was a woman that was always by his side in public, never heard any scandulous things about her, like we often get with the celebrity types. Tiger changed all that on his own accord.

Remember 100 million to Tiger is different than to most other people, you have to remember his worth and his actions that precipitated the divorce.

No doubt there are some slimy, weasley, lowdown, gold digging women out there. Tiger is dead wrong here though and if it cost him 100 million, so be it.
