How I love a crime-drama any night of the week but DAMN this one is GOOD. Last week was awesome and the most recent episode's weirdo killer is CREEPING me out. Not to mention...Idris Elba. Well hello there handsome man! I know he's married and a bit too old for me but my goodness. Loving the character, not to mention his great acting. Loving this series. Thank you BBC!
Ahahahaahhaa!!! Is she a fan!? I've only just discovered the show, series 2 sadly. Must get series 1 asap. Love a good crime drama with a handsome lead woop woop!
I watched a episode when I was on a plane going to Germany last year. I hope to buy Series One soon. Loved it. It was on BBC America one time.
Very good show. Only seen Season 1 on this side of the water, though. BBC America will no doubt air Season 2 here once the season has aired in the UK.
Yay!!! I'm so glad people like it. Wacy it is tonnes better than Cold Case. I used to like that one but have grown out of it. Luther is the man and the series is AWESOME. Turns out he grew up in Canning Town, East London, which is right near where I live. A London boy! Yay! It's filmed in London too which is always fun, when you recognise places in the city you're living in you know? Watch it and get back to me!
While I'm not in the UK, I watch it. The first two episodes of this season were great. I didn't much care for Luther's over the top smash-when-mad acting the first season, so this new season is a pleasant departure. This is probably the best cop show I've seen next to Law and Order: Criminal Intent. BBC would be crazy to cancel this.
shhhhHhhHhhhhHH iDRIS aka idris is To Sacrifice A Limb For mmmmmm........ aka to die for. Fact. He is devine.
You will indeed. I have already laid claim to my dear, sexy Idris. :smt050 And yes, I've got the first series of Luther on DVD and am looking forward to the second series which is out in the UK now and will be in Australia soon (I hope).
I caught Series one on BBC America. I hope they show series two soon. No one tell me, but I will be glad to see how the cliffhanger of series one was resolved.
Great show, very riveting. Shows a fully developed complex character that just happens to be played by a Black man, something that we rarely get here in the States. I know it is wrong but I keep rooting for Luther and Alice to get together....
Hehehe maybe we can share? I was drunk when I posted that last message, hence why it makes NO sense at all really, even to me!
