ET is just a living, walking, breathing, phallic object. Notice when he extends his neck and gets excited? That's basically his way of saying, "I'm horny!"

    "Requiem For A Dream"

It's certainly not a horror movie but the downfall of all 3 primary characters is scary and it has one of the best "characters-coming-out-of-the-television-screen" moments I've seen in a film. And this movie was made long before "The Ring".

    WOW!

I must say I didn't anticipate this much of a response but I'm so happy to have it! Though I will say ET and Knocked up aren't two movies that concern me much at my age. I'll have to start renting some of these for a Friday fright night! Thanks so much to everyone; you are the greatest! :prayer: :smt038

    LMAO! Good one!

As for Knocked Up, I didn't really buy their relationship. I just don't see how she'd stay with a guy like that when she's in the career that she's in, etc. She just seemed to fall way down far in that movie from where she started.

In fact, I think I've decided that I'm not much of a fan of Judd Apatow movies. LOL.

I don't know that I'd call Requiem for a Dream scary in the normal sense, but that's a movie that sticks with you long after you see it. It's a very powerful movie in that way.

I agree. It's a brilliant movie and really makes you think, long after the movie is over. I still think about it and I saw it...wow...I don't know HOW long ago. LOL

Because it was based on the true events about the secret behind the zombie making drug of Haiti.

Yes, IT is one scary movie. I've hated clowns ever since. LOL And thankyou for mentioning Wolf Creek...I forgot that one. It was scary and disturbing. Especially since our dear John Jarratt was the bad guy...who'd have thought?? LOL

Movie that is supposely base on actual events scared me the most.

    1. The entity- eventhough the movie was exaggerated it was documented by UCLA Parnormal Department. I read the case online, the actual even was more interesting than the Hollywood movie.

    2. The Exocist not based on actually evens but it was a good film.

    3. Amityville horror the original. Again, this was also based of a supposely actually event.

3 Phantasm, not base on a true story, but it was a great film, it scared a living daylights out of me, when i was a kid. Because the main character was 5 years older than me at that time, therefore i was able to identify with him.

    The Entity

actually the whole film is on youtube. Watch it before they take it down.
