HA HA HA HA I just had this conversation with a chick on MM. I have to paraphrase to bare with me.

...Model: Do you have any shoots coming up? What are some of your ideas? I would like to be in the next issue. I have been modeling for three years
Parris: I'm sorry, but you said you did not want to shoot with me. Do you remember we had a conversation about three months ago? I contacted you and you told me you do not shoot with black men.

...Model: I don't think that was me, maybe someone else.
Parris: Well if you click on the icon on My MM profile you can view our past conversations. It was you. This is a pretty small market and remember your profile.

...Model: Well I am sorry. It was just that I didn't know you.
Parris: Noooooo problem. I understand. You have to KNOW the black guy before you shoot with them. I get it. Well I charge $150.00 per hour. (yall know I don't charge $150.00 an hour) I also charge a $50.00 test shot fee, and it costs $100.00 per image to submit work for the magazine (yall know I don't charge for that either). You also need to provide your own Make Up artist.

...Model: oh wow. that's a lot. I am a college student.
Parris: Well, its because you are white and I don't know you.

I do believe there are times when an eye for an eye can bring a lesson on home.

I think you handled it just fine, maybe she will learn not to judge a person next time.

And remember, people like that sometimes take a double flush to get all the way down the drain.

At first I thought maybe it was (albeit deservedly) a little bit rude, but then I rethought it - you made it clear the very reasoning for your response was her initial rudeness and this imo actually makes it not rude at all but more of a 'see how it feels?' tactic.
