So I haven't seen some of my little cousins in awhile and we're going to do a movie night(I'm think triple feature). What would you guys consider the five best movies of the 80s and the five best movies of the 90s to be. For me 80s: 1. Back To The Future 2. Goonies 3. Rocky IV 4. Batman 5.Harry and the Hendersons 90s: 1. The Matrix 2. New Jack City(best gangster movie of all times in my opinion) 3.Clueless(solidified my love of ww don't judge me lol) 4. Terminator 2 5. The Green Mile
80s ET This is spinal tap The princess bride The colour purple A fish called Wanda 90s Goodfellas Pulpfiction American Beauty Reservoir Dogs Fight Club The Usual Suspects Fargo (love this movie for a few reasons but the Canadian accents are awesome LOL)
In no particular order... 80's: Scarface, Hellraiser, The Terminator, The Road Warrior, The Breakfast Club 90's: The Professional, The Godfather - Part III, Seven, Silence of the Lambs, Good Fellas
raising arizona, boys in da hood, pootie tang, x, school dayz, do the right thing, forrest gump, jerry maguire, there's something about mary, silence of the lambs and any given sunday.
the 80's for me were all about the brat pack.... the outsiders, st elmo's fire, breakfast club, 16 candles, pretty in pink, young guns, dirty dancing, la bamba, aliens, blade runner, the empire strikes back, platoon, stripes, terms of endearment, a fish called wanda, stand by me & all the raiders of the lost arc the 90's.... pulp fiction, goodfellas, fargo, malcolm x, sling blade, the usual suspects, boyz in the hood, the matrix, the big lebowski, the crying game, ace ventura, scent of a woman, the last of the mohicans, six degrees of separation & silence of the lambs
How old are they? 80s Raising Arizona (one of my favorite Coen Brothers movies) The Terminator Raiders of the Lost Ark & Last Crusade Ferris Bueller's Day Off & Sixteen Candles Stand By Me & Goonies & The Lost Boys 90s The Terminator 2: Judgment Day The Usual Suspects Reservoir Dogs & Pulp Fiction Fargo & The Big Lebowski Groundhog Day Three Kings I think these are all great films. Were they the best? I don't know, but I enjoy watching them and have watched all over and over again. :smt023
I was waiting for you movie buff. They're 14 and 16. I forgot about Ferris Bueller and Lost Boys(they need to see a good vamp flick. Fuck twilight) I'm with you on Pulp Fiction and Reservoir Dogs but Three Kings? Really?
Ah, then they'd probably like most of what's on my list (Usual Suspects, Fargo, Three Kings might not be up their alley at that age). Yeah, Three Kings is a great flick. The performances are great and it really sheds light on stuff that happens over there. I think it's one of George Clooney's better films. (Strictly my opinion, of course, LOL)
I'd say Ocean's 11 for Clooney myself and Walburgh did his best work in Boogie Nights and Ice Cube.... maybe Boyz In The Hood but I don't give credit to actors who play themselves though lol
breakfast club was the shit son bad ass mothafuckas holed up in detention..all 80's babies could relate to that surprised no one mentioned Home Alone i had the videogame for this shit too
It ain't Christmas time lol. I use to love combining household items to make weapons. Loved that glue gun.
I will agree to that, I still have a copy... I also loved 'St Elmos Fire", 'Pretty in Pink" & looovvveeedd "Weird Science"
Love these also, I probably would still cry if I watched Stand by Me again. I had a huge crush on Keifer Sutherland in The Lost Boys.
