You haven't seen it? It maybe dated by today's standards but still a pretty good movie. Check it out sometime.
Cujo's not scary. It's sad. Poor dog has rabies. Who, in a country with rabies present, doesn't vaccinate their dog against rabies? That movie made me so sad for Cujo. Poor pup. My name is Sin Mari, and I'm a mad obsessed dog person. :smt081 I love the movie 'Man's best friend'. That Tibetan Mastiff is GORGEOUS!
I agree that Cujo's not scary but it is intense due to the whole scenario that plays out with the mom & child in the car. Same reason people do stupid things in general is why the dog didn't get vaccinated : "My dog is special and can't get rabies."
LOL True, true. Wouldn't have a story if it did get it's vacc. I agree that the mum and child in the car is intense. The book is much better than the movie (as it is in most cases).
Metropolis? Really? Huh. For me, this movie is scary because it so feels like it could actually happen: It was one of those movies where you go home from seeing it in the theater, you sit on your couch, with a good vantage points to all of your doors, and you don't want to move. LOL.
Yes, it's a great flick. I was coerced into seeing it again in the theater, and whilst I was watching it, I turned to my friend and said, "why did I subject myself to this again??" I was, once again, scared to death when I got home. LOL.
This movie scared the crap out of me. LOL. I watched it all alone, on a Saturday night, whilst the rest of the house was asleep, and I couldn't get past Day 4. I was scared out of my mind. I saw this in the theater and it scared me, too:
I watched this movie at night, on my own and it scared the living crap outta me. Just the claustrophobia of it was scary enough, then add the other element and I was crapping myself. I will never go exploring caves...EVER. :smt009
Yeah, this was a pretty good flick. Another somewhat recent movie that had some scary moments for me at least was the Ruins. The plants were freaky.
AWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWFULLLL! What a hot stanking pile of excrement those movies were. The only scary movie that struck fear in I was Candy Man when I was a young lad. You bet ya ass I never went up to the bathroom alone repeating Candy Man.
I'm not even lying: Granted, I was really little when I watched it and I guess I didn't comprehend that he was a "friendly" alien cos I couldn't sleep for like a month afterwards, thinking ET was under my bed or outside my window. I can't even watch it as an adult. Just googling these pics freaked me out. WTF is friendly about this face??
