Jason Terry deserves the MVP -here is a player good but not great and rising to the occasion, performing when the pressure is on, hitting shot after shot like a clutch player and getting in a super star head (Bron), give him the MVP.
Exactly. Jason Terry is no MVP. He's could get an NBA Playoffs 6th Man Award if there were one but that's it.
Jason Terry for MVP is a legitimate debate to be had if you ask me. Yes, in the Dallas offensive hierarchy, Dirk comes first but no way they win the title without Terry scorching Lebron and Wade in Games 2, 5 and 6. Let's remember that Dirk struggled shooting the ball for long stretches of the Finals, and it was Terry's awesome spark off the bench that kept them in ball games, and Dirk to his credit often found a way to get it done in the 4th, and not just scoring. Overall, I agree with Nowitzki being the Finals MVP but let's not act like Dirk was Jordan on the 1993 Bulls team. Terry bailed him out a couple of times. Did you see those crazy shots he hit in Games 5 and 6?
Of course Terry was one of the main reasons they won but Dirk is clearly the Finals MVP. It's almost ridiculous that Jason Terry even comes off the bench given how vital he is to the team's success.
and that is a sad thought. that last half season or whatever it was when the spurs and knicks made the finals... that was a wack season. some terrible play. players were so out of shape and out of sync, it was pathetic.
