I hate you Joffrey...how could you kill off papa Stark!!! was anyone a little disappointed that they didnt show the fighting in the last episode? I was hoping for some scenes that looked like they came out of Brave Heart...instead the little elf gets knocked out and we don't see anything.:smt088
I thought I had fallen asleep and missed something - wdf??? then I realized that was just the way it was meant to be..... booooooo.
i was really shocked to be honest. I thought Ned was the main character, like he would somehow come back and set things right in the Kingdom. :smt095 utter horseshit
I saw no head fall so I still have hope but that little kid is a piece of shit and why keep the girl alive she's gonna kill him in his sleep
Look at him. He looks like he was the unfortunate victim of being born a spoiled bitch. I wonder if theres some "weasel" gene scientists haven't discovered yet where people end up lookin like a Joffrey. :smt011
sorry for making another thread, but i noticed some people arent as up-to-date. it's a good show that needs no spoiling
lol i love cable TV..they dont care who u r reminds me of one of the seasons of dexter (every season actually), where a main star gets killed
NP...I didnt watch the last episode till last night myself. Whos worse, Joffrey or the tittie milk boy? :smt080
u know this show pushes some boundaries child actors putting their mouths on the breasts of another woman and all
Yup, I can't stand Joffery and that's how I know he's a good character to hate. And yes, the Milk Drinking boy is weird. I actually was wondering how they could pull that off with a kid suckin' on a boob. His mom is a couple inches away from being straight off her rocker. Though I think they have a good setup for holding prisoners and putting them to death. It's kind of cool. Seeing Ned die surprised me because I too thought that since he was a main character, headline character at that, that he would at least finish out the season and of course any others. I thought he was going to somehow escape and lead the rebellion, but instead we watch his name and reputation get dragged through the mud and then put to death. A shame...but definitely in my top 3 favorite tv moments.
seriously i thought there would be some Great Escape.. Seeing Jon get the sword for saving the Watch Commander was sweet tho he's going to turn out as a hero character worth rooting for
Yeah, Jon's cool. I wonder what he's going to decide to do. oh yeah, what do you think about Kanjarol's and the witch doing her demonic ceremony to save him? That actually freaked me out a little, the poor horse was all like 'WTF' and got his throat slashed all over the dang hut. Everybody warned the Khaliki not to have it done. I wonder if that means evil spirits will take over Kanjarol, or the girl or the baby or something...crazy stuff.
Well the entire plot is summarized on Wikipedia given that the show follows the series of books, Game of Thrones being the first in the series. Without giving away plot spoilers, imo Jon Snow is the moral compass of the series if not the main character.
aside from someone as reputable as the Watch Commander bearing witness to zombies, that was one of the most lucid scenes of supernatural shit that takes place in the series. I wasn't sure if the series was going to be based in reality or not, but after that you kinda see that some wild lord of the rings shit is going to happen. Maybe the Khaleesi is a 'dragon' after all
Regarding Joffrey, he actually believes he's the rightful King and he was just asserting his independence (and blood thirst).
he's not as well known as Sean Bean, but after getting the epic sword of the Watch+10 hero points, you kinda see that there's more to him than meets the eye. I havent read the books, but id bet my money that he'll end up fighting Jamie Lannister. Jamie dug in Ned's ass, and punked Robb when offering a 1 on 1 duel to decide the war (in all fairness, Robb's henchman Jamie killed 10 of his men before capture lol), so it's up to Jon to get with it.
Targaryens ruled for 300 years, until the civil war. Joffrey's family slayed the mad king and the Tagaryen children were killed. All he's known is treachery and double dealing. He believes he's the rightful King and that he was going to be usurped, any other King would have killed Stark in the same position. Ned really had to make the tough moral decisions, it was really horrible to see a good man die.
Yeah, it sucked to see Ned die. Heck, I even thought that his daughter with the sword was going to get up there and try to save him and that she would get killed or something, resulting in them sending Ned back to the dungeon or whatever, but it didn't go that way at all. Honestly for her, I thought it would be cool if her 'Dance Teacher' survived, finds her and teaches her so more fighting techniques. Though maybe she'll be the one to drive a blade through Joffery's gut. Also, I'd like for the little dude to come out on top after all of this, at least come out on top over the other Lanisters. it would be nice if he could walk away with his dad's empire or his own little army. Gosh, there's so much speculation that can come from all this! lol
