Its been a concern for a while for some... me feeling is if this speculation turns out to be true, then the whole world is doomed. Imagine that..a lil phone and not a nuclear bomb did us all in.

True. I know I would. I talked to someone on this and they suggested using a headset to keep the phone farther away from you if you feel really uncofortable with all this. I thought it was a good idea to avoid some exposure.

I knew about it a while back ago. There were research coming out of Denmark, Sweden, etc....stating some possible risk association, then other studies from Europe comes out refuting it or they would say it is inconclusive.

I buy like two head sets for every cell phone that I have used. God knows I have changed cellphones every other week, from flip phones to black berry to smart phones..... tried to use head set with each phone but after two to three days of use, then I get of the band wagon. Either I forget or too lazy to carry it, etc..... So I don't use it as much, but I know I should. But I do use the speaker a lot when I am at home.

Anyhoo, if something happen to my fragile brain I am gonna sue, it is the American way, blame someone for lack of personal responsibility.

You can also purchase these little stickers you place on the ear part that supposedly acts as a barrier and deflects the electromagnetic rays away.

Not sure if they have been proven to work though.

Best thing is I heard is not to charge your phone by your bed while you sleep.

Also that the strongest signal is when you first dial, so I dial on speakerphone, but when they answer switch to private only if I have to.

Since you use alot of dif phones, whats the best in your eyes?

And as for lack of P/R, until they slap a warning label, how is your gramma and lil sister supposed to know, you know. Like ciggies were touted healthy in ADS by doctors...we are always told "uh-oh" AFTER.

For less radiation? To be honest, I am not sure. I read about it a while ago and I am not sure which one. I just upgrade phone a lot 'coz of application/use (smart phones).

You're right about the warning label, I haven't seen it but an acquaintance told me once, not sure if she said she saw it on a label??? or something to that effect but I have never seen it.
Hopefully the radiation is so small and does not affect brain cells. Most of the exposure like you said is when you're charging the phone at night with in 3-4 fts of your bed. I have also heard/read it causes thining of the bone if you wear it on your belt for number of years.

Privacy is at question. Not every call I make is for public broadcast. I use speaker a lot but headsets are an option if you still need to keep it private.

No, as in quality/the style of phone/ease of use - the one you keep going back to.

It is a tossup b/n droid and I phone. I phone got about a million apps and droid like > 750 K apps (I could be wrong but somewhere around that). For me reception has been about the same. The iphones from AT and T allows you to surf while on the phone, so that is a plus. I don’t know who is going to win at the end, but I think both prolly gonna be here for a long haul.

I also like the HTC phone-as it comes with Pull out Keyboard, stylus and at the same time touch screen as well.

Thanks for the input. Appreciate it.

I had a Pantech with AT&T in 06 that allowed me to surf the web and use the phone...very handy especially when on hold or looking up something per my phone convo. Plus I could connect to my home comp and access files on it. Very nifty phone for being a small sucker in size.

I like these new phones out now that you plug the whole phone in your laptop and the content converts to the l/t, as well as becoming a modem for it.
