Holy crap! When I saw your thread, I thought, eh yer a week late, plus it's also 1000 posts deep in my politics group...and then I saw the Yahoo story have him confessing...oh man...its just all too much!

 

I hope he pulls out of this. He's a good guy. And his wife is just amazing!

Politicians are not role models; I don’t look up to a senator or a congress man for morality and spiritual guidance. While I'm inclined to agree with you, there is a code of ethics in Congress, and from What Pelosi is calling, he broke it. So their behaviors are accountable...and I believe that exists in most professions. You see, he called the police and filed a false report that he was hacked. That is against the law.

If you're going to lie to your wife, constituents and country, next time do it within the realms of the law.

 

Code of ethics, code of ethics my ass, them fuckers lie all the time. Making side deals with major corporations, taking kick backs, not delivering their campaign promises..... those are the code of ethics that the logical US citizens care for, not about some horny congressman bending some hot chick young enough to be his daughter in back seat of a limo or in a bath room of some fancy family owned up state restaurant.

 

He's only been married a year. He claims he didn't physically touch any other woman, and I believe him, unless he's a liar.

So if you've established they lie to make deals with major Corps, how do you know that behavior isn't and extension of their off the record behaviors?

I know you see their antics as harmless fun and I'm sure John Edwards would love you on his jury, but the facts are: John's character was dubious at best. He used contribution money for his own secret protection of a love child. Other examples: South Carolina Gov. Mark Sanford, who abandoned his post to fly to Argentina to be with his mistress, Clinton who lied under oath and perjured himself, NY Gov Spitzer who committed a crime with a prostitute, New Jersey Gov. Jim McGreevey who sexually harassed an unqualified male worker he hooked up with a job so he could be close to him, NY's Gov. Paterson admitted he used funds to pay for hotels for his mistress to keep her nearby.

So next time they need cash to pay for/house/or hide...pussy - we'll send them to your house to collect the funds since you DGAF what they do behind closed doors.
