You know everytime I call these people out I'm always dumb ass. Pay attention you might learn something.
Seriously. What man doesn't know women are treated like shit through out the world and always have been. Reading about woman's sufferage isn't going to give me deeper insight into that.
I've read "Black Like Me", W.E.B. DuBois, Booker T Washington, Langston Hugues and a few other. Most of those are classic black literature that many people don't read about unless they take a black literature course, usually in college. You are correct though, even though they were written in the early part of the 1900's, there are a lot of things that still apply to this day. Human beings will be human beings, no matter what. The date on the calender means nothing.
I had a weird situation some years ago. A WM co-worker of mine was married to a BW and, he seemed pretty cool and, we got along well. One day myself and a WW co-worker were flirting a little and, he looked a little pissed off and indifferent about it. The young WW was very attractive and she was into blacks dudes. I thought it was strange that he'd get upset with me flirting with her, being married to a black women.
I'm not the least bit surprised by any of this. That’s textbook hypocrisy on his part and you would automatically be labeled as the bad guy or "playing the race card" if you called him out on it. smh
seems to be alot of wm like this, sadly enough no one calls them out on this shit, its allways a lie if anyone brings it up
Did you talk about this?? I mean, it could be a misinterpretation on your end. Not saying that it doesn't happen because it does, but you might have read it wrong - just a possibility. LOL words to live by.:weedman:
No I didn't but, maybe I should have but, you would to have had been there yourself to understand. I've known some white dudes who dated blk girls and had no issue with the other way around, at least they didn't seem to. I admit it could have been a misrepresentation on my part though. He was like one of those White guys who grew up around black people and, we got along well (even after that). His reaction and demeanor was a trip though.
Hmm. Interesting situation. I have seen such things happen in my own life. I think it can stem from WM's feeling entitled to the most beautiful of ALL women no matter what race! Its a side affect from slavery when white males were at the top of the food chain and could have it ALL!
from the story, it really just sounds like some alpha male shit, regardless of melanin. a typical dude being a typical dude.
