The problem is boycotting these days is useless. Once something gets on the internet and goes viral it doesn't matter.[IMG]

this issue is deeply rooted in our subconcious as men and women and children. there is nothing we can do but be aware of it and see it for what it is.

i think the other side is. while this woman is right about what she is saying. her angry complaints somewhat directs anger at interacial couplings (BM & WW).

She is saying that "black men" are emotionally and psyhcologically programmed to hate themselves and dark skin and regular black women. and prefer white, light skin, and light skin and mixed.

but its crucial that we not generalize.

its all confusion at the end of the day.

Bhayes, everytime you come by here to post, you always whine about self hate, blk this black that, light skin this light skin that, American women hate nice guys, American women are selfish, blah blah all these garbage. Why don't you do society a favor and just kill yourself.

There are more pressing matters at hand when it comes to building people, including the black community and yet...she's pissing on someone's video because it doesn't quite have what she prefers to see?

Instead of trying to degrade rappers(as if they represent all black men), and a huge industry that obviously wont change for her. She could be focusing her efforts on improving these dark skin girls self image.

Problems like these dwell in the inside. She should be focusing on that instead of setting a bad example by telling black women to boycott, and get loud because things aren't their way.

This is another example of someone who actually could have a good case, but is going about it all the wrong ways.

I dutifully agree with your sentiment there. In fact, she's reinforcing negative stereotypes of her own with that sort of behavior. Heh, such counterproductive attitudes will be the death of any means to progress in such ways.

boycotting isn't a bad thing, but instead of not supporting wale, we sould support intelligent rappers. use your money wisely.

she's a social c0mmentator commenting on the industry she is a part of.
the bold is irrelevant to what she is talking about. she is talking about the industry and the black men in it and the image they put out. by not supporting something that doesn't support them. hence a boycott is the logical step.

wow. somebody actually said something intelligent that is relevant to the topic. what a revelation.

yeah. i just feel that BW see reports like this and articles that say the same things and they get angry at black men who date/marry outside their race, especially with white.

I'll look at it your way then.....

The image she claims they're putting out is "dark skin girls aren't attractive"

    What's the problem with that?

well i really think this video here answers your question.

i do have sympathy for BW in some respects. But the issue is, its hard topic to discuss without anger and bitter-ness on their part. And alot of times interacial couples (bm who date and marry out of their race) are usually the victims of this anger/bitterness

Yeah, that's considered a self image problem.

I said the lady should be focusing on improving the self image of dark skin girls, and then he came along and said that it was irrelevant.

It's ok though I didn't recognize who made that post, TERRASTAR18 is not known for using his brains. I shouldn't have even paid attention to him.

On a serious note though, I did watch the video Bhayes and read some of the comments. This particular comment raised an eyebrow with me.

I think we should really try (as hard as we can) to be more respectful towards BW and portray them in a better light, even if you decide to date interracially.

This is just one artist and his video. I guess its easy to single him out. I do think that this is an issue and really unfortunate. Black women of all shades are beautiful.

I think black women need to try as hard as they can to get off this pity party. From what I've seen black women have been on a 30 campaign to destroy the image of black American men. So I don't feel any sympathy for these bitches, period. It's not our fault that they have low self esteems.
