Yeah, I know. But I found the girl that I like. But here's the problem is, she's divorced! I'm not sure if I can marry her due to a certain circumstances that has to be met. Ever since God hates divorce very much.

Let me tell you, God loves marriage, and yes, God doesn't like divorce, but God hates an unhappy, angry person more than all of that. Don't let her being divorced sway you. I am divorced since age 26, and don't you believe that I deserve to find true happiness? We don't always make the best choices when we're younger, and with the abstinence obsession of the Christian right, it makes "waiting" almost impossible. A woman's prime fertility period is supposedly in early to mid 20s, and yet these women are usually too immature to choose what they want in terms of a life partner. The ones that say "Wait til you're 30 and THEN choose - but don't lose your virginity" are in plain denial. Don't worry about her being divorced - trust me, it's better than if she had been single this whole time, because you'd have to wonder why nobody loved her enough before. Don't let divorce stand in your way.

I'm really confused. From the holy bible book that I've looked up, it says that if she's divorced, that is, she must remain single for the rest of her life. It is of said that if I marry to her, it would be commit a sin, adultery. That doesn't make sense.

How can you commit a sin, adultery, when it comes to love? The holy bible book itself is really confusing me! I want to understand more. I want to do it the right way. I just hope that divorce won't stand in my way ever since I don't really believe in divorce.

If we are married, we will be doing for Son of God, Jesus Christ. Even if I found my wife cheating on me, I have to find a strength to forgive her and move on.

Oh, and, I want to be married to believer, not to non-believer. I don't think I can stomach to get a idea of being married to non-believer. It means that I will not see my wife again in afterlife. So...I'd like to marry to believer. So we can spend of all of eternity together.

Ok, just so we're clear, do you want your daughter to be like Holy Mary, or Queen Elizabeth?
If it's Virgin Mary, better hurry and let them know of your announcement before it's too late.

Let me make it perfectly clear. I really want my daughters to be like Holy Mary, because she's the Queen of Heaven. Since I'm not married and haven't got children yet.

So, I'm asking God to bless me to have the beautiful daughters like her.

Now, does that make a perfect sense to you now? lol

That's not what I meant! It's my wish for my children to be like her after their lives are finished here on the earth! Do you got it now? :smt042

Don't worry about her, Bradin - she is trying to mock you although the shame is entirely on her.

Oh, OK. I thought she didn't get what I just said about wanting my daughters to be like Queen of Heaven, Holy Mary.

Listen woman, if you bothered to get your hoighty toighty nose out your ass, you'd have noticed the only mocker here is Bradin. How the HELL do you have a religious epiphany and visions of Jesus and repent your sins...but decide you're gonna give up porn
    ...in September. [IMG]

Oh yeah, just so we're clear, I am mocking you.

I just want to understand more. Remember, I want to do the right way, that's all. Please provide the scriptures. I don't care if you're giving out many more, the more the better!

    Tell me more about it.

It concerns me not at all, you trifling thing. He is far more likely to realize what he should do than you will to gain another brain cell's worth of enlightenment.

bradin...one thing you must understand that to sin is human....there is no perfect human that walks the face of the earth...you know what you need to work on...humans can be addicted to many things...one thing i would caution you on is not setting yourself up for failure...don't be so hard on yourself...having the desire to change is the first step...

Thank you. It's just that it's not a good thing for me to watch porn. Do you know that I've been watch porn since the age of ten? Even today, I thought that it's harmless for me to watch porn knowing that it's a sin.

It's just that..I can't die with sin. That's why I have repented my sins last week. Still, my good lord in heaven acknowledged of my addiction to pornography. I just want to know what Lord require of me to do? Does he wants me to go to rehab?

My addiction to pornography is like drinking alcohol.

Say, lipstick, supposedly, you're my wife. What would you do? Would you have me committed to rehab? Just tell me. What would you have done?

no, lippy would not send you to rehab...this is why...it is also a sin to have sex outside of marriage...we have several regular posters here on the forum that high five each other all the time about what good christians they are yet they sin just like the rest of us every damn day...

as far as the porn...set small goals for yourself...if you watch porn every day for an extended period of time...limit the time every day until it isn't a struggle...then try to go without porn every other day...then try to skip it a few days in a row...liking porn is not the end of the world...neither is having sex outside of marriage...just remember there is only one judge...
