so stop whining fellas....just act like a badass with some intelligence (the president, sean connery, denzel, brad pitt, taye diggs are good examples. look at their photos.). look at how they carry themselves. confidence, confidence , confidence.

 

First, this was a very small study of collage aged students that simply looked at photos of people smiling, not smiling, looking apologetic/meek, and another set was neutral. The young women in the study preferred the non-smiling males, and the young men in the study preferred the smiling female photos. There was absolutely no reference to the character of the person, that is inferred and may not be accurate.

Anyhoo, I disagree with the findings of this small study, but I am also not 21 so that could be a part of it. I absolutely LOVE photos with the men smiling, I find non-smiling pics to be a huge turnoff. Bad boys need not apply

Teenage women and very young girls early 20s might like bad boys for the excitement but when they are ready to settle they do that with the solid reliable guy(then cheat on him with the bad boy from time to time)

I'll be honest, I might lust after the bad boys but I'd never sleep with one. If I can't trust a man with my keys, I can't trust him with my vag. But seriously, I agree 10000% on the confidence thing. In both men and women, a lack of confidence is a huuuuuge turn off.

my theory is that most women want a bad boy early on to have fun with aka someone who isnt a nice guy as in someone who doesnt nessarily do what thyre told and is unpredictable and a man she raise a child or children with who is dependable and honest in her later years
