Fat people should buy two seats instead of trying to squish into one seat.

I'm really getting sick and tired of obese people bitching and feeling sorry for themselves.

Ok I just watched the video and headline makes it sound like a big woman and her small child at least that's the way I saw it. Here's the bottom line Americans have become far too big. That woman lost 100 lbs and still looks like she has another 100 to go. Unless she's flying to get surgery from a specialist her and her mother should be more concerned about saving their lives instead trying to make the world seem superficial and shallow for pointing they're too big to fly.

 

Well I have and I am judging. Trust me I know personally after dropping a lot of weight myself that shit aint easy and what I lost is a small amount of weight in comparisson to those women but its time to take some control. They're definitely on death's doorstep.

 

Its not easy, after going from 235lbs to 185lbs the shit is HARD, but there was no way I could just "be happy" or pretend that I was somehow "healthy"

...I feel for them, but after having to sit next to someone who simply couldn't fill in their own seat and started to spill over to mine....I understand.

 

I agree that A: SOME obese people should buy two seats because they are simply too big to fit into one and economy class seats are cramped enough without having someone else take up half your seat. And B: That we've gotta stop giving fat people shit. Yes, they did it to themselves (most of the time, some medications can actually cause people to become dramatically obese...I personally know of one guy who had a heart transplant and the drugs they gave him to help his body accept the heart caused massive weight gain. Guy was normal size and just expanded an insane amount, it was mind boggling), but it doesn't make them less human or less deserving of respect.

Worry about your own life, not everyone elses.

But yes...if they honesty don't fit into one seat, they should buy two.

And what I can't stand about this forum is the obvious hypocrisy when it comes to overweight women because I guarantee we wouldn't be having the sympathy discussion if it were two fat men we'd be all having a good laugh at their expense. Sin this isn't really directed at you singularly it just gets annoying after a while. In the context of this article making fun of someone's weight is perfectly within context of the story. These two enormous women, fuck that they aren't that big shit I'm a full adult male and those cows are bigger than I am, should not complain about being embarassed and outraged. They knew the policy of the airline (who doesn't at this point) and got upset when they got called out for trying to get over on the system.
Btw Sin the medication or medical argument is such a minimal sector of the obese population. They're almost on par with black albinos so I don't get why they get brought up.

lippy flys southwest all the time...lucky to be an A lister so I usually grab a window towards the front...can't tell you how many times on a flight all the very large people seem to be boarding in the last C group and take middle seats...i see just as many overweight men boarding the plane huffing and puffing because they are out of air...sweating...stinky...

southwest is going to have a discrimination lawsuit on their hands soon enough...they rarely bump the obese men...especially if they are frequent business travelers...they look the other way
