I agree that it's not about the looks...It seems to me that guys in positions like Arnold or other men with power choose women to "use" because they want someone will be compliant with their sexual demands, and quiet. I won't say that I think he's ugly but I understand what you mean. I think that people are disappointed that he didn't choose a more attractive partner with whom to have an affair. But, money and notoriety have always been "attractiveness enhancers". Many otherwise average or unattractive people seem to be regarded as attractive or are able to acquire attractive partners, Maria Shriver, Snookie, Tara Reid, All of the New Charlie's Angels, Tobie McGuire, Ben Affleck, Jay Z, Will Smith, and many more men and women.

 

I agree with you, and as I said earlier, IMO, it's more about using their power to "use" women. I'm with you on the money and notoriety thing too. I remember my ex asking me if I wanted to meet Bono after a U2 concert because her best friend dated Bono's best friend. It was cool to get the free tickets but I had no interest in meeting Bono.
