Ladies, have you influenced/helped your friends or family to get with Black Men

My closest friends know of my preference. One of my best friends has since dated a black man...

 

Whew! I was just wondering? I hadn't read anything else about her, but when I read her post I expected people to start posing the same concerns.

 

Oh God no. I was against it. And he was a newlywed! (our boss). But like Tam said, I think my love of Black men got her intrigued and she took to our Black co-worker, as he did to her. Then when she left the company, she took another Black male co-worker as a casual lover at her new job. (she knew I vehemently disapproved of her screwing around.) This was over a decade ago and she is now re-married to a redneck white man. To this day, she pretends like her Black man affairs didn't happen. I think she's just scared if that she discusses it, her husband might somehow catch wind and go apeshit. So she's put it out of mind, out of mouth.

 

And she is your friend???

What kind of question is that? Yes of course she is my friend.

I can only go by what she tells me. I am not present when she has sex, I am only given the cliffnotes.
So far over the years, she hasn't brought up in conversations that she has had relations with a Black man other than/since those two times.

 

Well i just thought friends have the same way of thinking and since you are into black men i was a bit surprised you have a friend who denies her escapades with a black man that's all.

 

Ahh. Well there are a many things we think alike on, but our choices of men aren't one of them. It's not that she denies them, it's that she no longer acknowledges those encounters. In times of discussions of Black lovers/boyfriends/the seeking of boyfriends that me and my girlfriend (who now only dates Black men) have, she'll listen and encourage and support us or comment her opinion, but you'd never know anymore she's also had sex with brothas. Since I and girlfriend #2 don't bring it up unless she does(which she no longer does and her prerogative), it's moot.
Meh, it's hard to explain the atmosphere on those occasions, lol. Oh well.
