I'll be loving white women til the day I kick the bucket, so none of the haters matter in the end Regina. They can all kick rocks barefoot.

Its what i'm attracted to, my life and my choice to make.

Some folks are just ignorant, bitter and unhappy and want to make others just as miserable as them, cliche but true misery loves company. Its the dark heart of some folks.

Do most black girls even care about this?

Call me crazy but I doubt the average black girl is sitting around hating on interracial relationships or is afraid of "white women talking all the good black men."

Seems to me like there's just a handful if idiots who think this way.

White men are just lucky they could set up a whole system to keep white women and black men apart or brothas would have made a move a long time ago. :)

I still find it remarkable that a black man could be hanged and his penis cut off for being with a white woman. If that doesn't testify to a deep insecurity in said society then nothing else does. This is how low black men were thought of in American history.

This is why I sit back and smile about today. I am aware of every negative shit that has been said about and attributed to black men from history to now, yet we just carry on trying to do our thing.

What doesn't kill you makes you stronger indeed. Its 2011, we have a president of a black man and white woman parentage, black men are dating white women at a continually increasing rate, especially given where it was in American history only decades ago and black men will continue to soldier on.

Some bitter people need to work on themselves and stay out of the business of grown folks.

There is always a handful of idiots in life, you are right a secure, comfortable, have a man black woman I imagine wouldn't care.

A lonely, miserable, can't get a man one is the type to likely mouth off.

I think some get all twisted when its a big baller type such as an entertainer or pro athlete with a white girl. Shows you the priorities. Not that homeboy would be checking for them anyway.

I'm the kind of dude that will hold hands, kiss my woman, hug her up, I don't care if I am in the middle of Starkville, Mississippi or Atlanta, Georgia, fuck if I care what some jackoff thinks.

Very true. I was accused of not loving my husband recently and that it was just lust all b/c I have stated I have preference for black men. LOL I'm like wow are u serious. You don't even know me and what makes it so bad is when I meet my husband I was still dating wm. My preference didn't come about till years later after I had only been with bm for awhile. But whatever. The haters gonna hate. I'm just glad I've never dealt with anyone like that in real life. Or rather I say I don't notice it in real life cause hubby does.

On my way to the picture post. I like your attitude about this nonsense, by the way. You can't get preoccupied with what some idiot thinks, because that's not who you have to live with and be happy with. They're just that...idiots.

Like lust is going to make you have 4 children with someone, live with them, marry them and build a future with them around something as fleeting as 'lust'! People always have to belittle and attempt to devalue that which they hate or fail to comprehend.

This is a famous line that's thrown around out there, its the presumptuous nature of some folks to assume they know the motives and reasons behind the relationships of others. They feel being ignorant gives them a peace of mind about their insecurities.

You weren't told the backstory, us black men are incapable of love, how dare we envision such an idea, we're just walking phalluses.. Ignorance is bliss for sure and some fools enjoy reveling in it.

That's probably just what it is, in the real world people know better and check themselves for obvious reasons.

I completely agree. I think the same thing. There are hot, attractive women in all races. And attraction is universal, it isn't limited to just one race, like some misinterpret. Primarily, I like White women and I've realized that some Asian women are interested in me also. The challenges will be the same for both types of relationships because there really isn't a big difference between the two.

That's an interesting take behind it. Thanks for the history lesson, by the way. My personal opinion is that it doesn't make sense why BW don't like seeing it, but that's more-so a problem with African Americans, not really anyone else.

That makes sense. Nice picture by the way, Star. Also, the point I'm trying to make in these posts is that you can't get everyone to agree on one point or one perspective. My take on it is that you can't belittle your own kind in the process while you prefer women of other races. As I've stated before, it is just the African American community that has this issue. Nobody else (who dates interracially), is dealing with these kinds of headwinds. It's better to confront the question and solve it, rather than ignore it, like some people here have suggested for me to do.

Not to defend anyone, but it's like saying "I don't like black men" because of the horrible stereotype associated with being a black man, rather is abandament of children, to crime, DL, immaturity, or anyone thing that would make a bw swear off to bm. The same stereotypes applies to bw in this case, in which whatever that has made him swear off to bw, not that I care.
