Not familiar with the gent in question, so if there's some backstory of him slating black women, then someone fill me in.

Are you all serious? I don't feel like writing a long essay to respond against several replies that were made here, so I'll make things simpler with quotes from others that are addressing this issue with Haynesworth and other blacks, in general.

It makes sense, what you're saying. But you have to remember that although myself and my family are black, we aren't really Americans, we're from a foreign country. That is what makes things a little more complicated for us. My family is not really AA, and yet they are at a little unease when I (and other blacks) mention that they prefer women of other ethnic groups, besides their own. As stated in the other thread (Adolescent's thread), it is impossible to derive (when you date interracially) if it is based on resentment for BW or a lot of love for WW, or perhaps both, simultaneously.

It also makes sense to say that some BW who like WM do it out of hatred for BM, because the same kinds of problems occur for them, we just don't focus on it as intensively as we focus on their problems, because of the nature of this site.

 

Which is why I have always done what makes me happy and let others do what suits them.

I'm attracted to white women, yet I realize there are white women who don't like black guys, that doesn't affect me, same goes for black women who don't like black men, etc, its a wide, wide world out here.

I think its my strong individual streak that makes me look at things that way. I know what I like, what turns me on, attracts my interest and stimulates me emotionally.

LOL, TS. I just can't stand the whole "well all women have attitude" for example.

Its like some of these women have a problem being self critical or accepting criticism. My favorite is black men choose relationships with non-black women because they can't handle a strong black woman and they are gay.

Even in a couple of the responses they called Haynesworth gay, the same thing was said about Brian White after he called out some black women for talking smack about his marriage to his Latina wife. I think the DL paranoia has gotten to some of these women or are they so irresistibly hot that it's impossible for a man to not want to be with them.

I know all the negative stereotypes about black men and you don't see me going "well white men do that too." I strive for better as a black man, don't need to cover my self under the guise of who else does negative things as well.

I leave some of these crazy women to the thugs that will make them another statistic. Until their value system of what a "man" is changes they will continue to never learn the real deal.

 

I see what you mean by striving for better as a black man, great minds think alike. I for one refuse to apologize for being attracted to a certain type of woman.

However, some black men will choose a woman who has the power to turn a pawn into a king while other black men choose the kind of woman who will turn that same pawn into a queen so she can be the king.

2) in regards to his statement. it is stupid. no one in their right mind would be within the circumference of slight agreement of this fool.

3) in regards to BM/WW relationships and how you feel about BW and why is, stupid to address. lets say this as I stated before dating a white woman should be done without having to degrade a BW. better stated....Im dating her not because she white for me but because she is right for me.
