NFL Player Denies Sex Abuse Charges by Saying "I Don't Even Like Black Girls"

From Clutch Magazine: NFL player Albert Haynesworth is under fire. Not only because he was arraigned this morning for allegedly groping a waitress at the W Hotel in Washington D.C. back in February, but because his apparent defense against the sex abuse charges is pretty pathetic-he can't possibly be guilty, Haynesworth asserts because he "doesn't even like Black girls."

According to The Root, Haynesworth refused to accept a plea deal for simple assault, which would have kept him out of jail. Instead, he was arraigned on sex abuse charges for allegedly "sliding his credit card into the bra of a waitress and touching her breast during a birthday party," and may face up to 180 days in jail if convicted.

Aside from Haynesworth's ridiculous, "I don't even like Black girls" defense, the troubled Washington Redskins player went on to claim the waitress was just mad because his girlfriend is white.

"I didn't touch her. I don't even like black girls. I know what this is about, she is just upset I have a white girlfriend. I couldn't tell you the last time I dated a black girl. She was trying to get with me, " Haynesworth said.

Perhaps sensing the stupidity of his client's defense, Haynesworth's business manager, told reporters that the "real" reason the waitress filed charges against his client was because she was upset over her tip.
 
You should take a look at the comments, especially this one.

It always amazes me when I hear black men make these comments against black women. The wall of stereotypes these black men create against black women today is the same wall their biracial daughters will have to face tomorrow. Think about it. One day, God willing, you will be blessed with a beautiful daughter and she will have to face a society that thinks less of her because your blood runs through her body. You will have to answer questions as she is teased about the texture of her hair and the color of her skin. You will have to console her as she cries about feelings of inadequacies. You will have to face the fact that you added to a world that degrades black women, a world your daughters now has to face everyday as a black women. Its fine if you prefer to date outside of your race but please don't add to the humiliation faced by black women each day by adding to these misguided stereotypes.

Anyone who follows the NFL knows how worthless and stupid Haynesworth is.

True, but somehow I believe he really is innocent. This was probably just an opportunity some female was attempting for the sake of getting money.

I'm focusing primarily on this part. I don't really care about the rest of what she said.

Soulthinker, you do have to acknowledge that this article gives BW ammunition to claim that if you date a WW, you probably hate your skin.

I'm still going for WW anyway, they can't lump me into the self-hate group!

You can't control what people will say about your black/bi-racial daughter.


All you can do is raise her not to follow the very stereotypes people speak of.
 
Exactly. A biracial child is a byproduct of both parent figures. However, raising them properly starts at home and from there allow other rational-minded people to take course.

While I can't discount him getting the side-eye from the waitress given the amount of racial hostility directed at athletes dating white women, I think he should have stayed muted on his belief. He could have said he didn't find her attractive, which would've be fine.

I also don't feel the alleged accusation merits being called a sexual assault.

I swear to G-d I cant believe Im gonna say this.....when I do say this Im gonna commit Seppuku.

I see (OMG) what Mike is trying to get at. (UUUGGGGGHHH). he is trying to say that this is gonna give more ammo to those individuals who HATE WWBM. they dont have a problem with BWWM IR so much as the WWBM.
