A little bit of writing (some say) on some of my other blogs (1 really - I don't split attention too well).

Mostly art. I took classic piano until age 16 and just couldn't evolve, although I have a "nice" voice and sing well in a choir.

Art is my main gift. These are ones which happen to be without color, as I started with a simple pencil.

I don't know notes at all, but can listen to music and by ear copy it on a base very quickly.

I have a knack for drawing and oil, but rarely do it anymore.

I am technically a good singer but not so sure about the voice.

I'm very good at 3 dimensional stuff I used to ace that in school translating 2 dimensional blue prints to 3D and vice versa. I was creepy good but pretty useless since I'm not using that talent at all. I still think its fun to do these type of challenges on IQ tests etc just for fun. Gawd Im a dork.'

I'm a damn good handy man:) putting stuff together and figure out how to do home improvements. And I'm stubborn as a mule when it comes to these things so I wont give up until its done.

I can still put my legs behind my head:smt025

Wow, you're extremely gifted when it comes to art(actually, I'm not keen on 'gifted' as it implies you didn't work for it and I'm sure you did, I just don't have a better word).

Do you take commissions/have an online portfolio(devart is the only one I know of really, but I'm sure there's more professional ones)? If you don't and it's something you enjoy doing, definitely consider it. Kinda broke right now(I'm such a catch ;) ), but I'd definitely be interested in a purchase sometime when cash is flowing and I'm pretty certain I could send others your way(mostly for pet portraits).

Wow, seriously glad you posted in this thread, I feel like I've seen another side of you. Hopefully you'll take me seriously here knowing I'm not going to kiss your arse for no reason, but if I had your skills, I'd be using them commercially somehow and I hope you do too :3 I'm not sure if you're familiar with the online art communities or interested in selling any of your work, but if you are, I definitely think you would do well. Obviously, you'd want to talk to someone more knowledgeable than me and you might not be interested in doing it online, but I think you've got some untapped potential there.

Haha, I sound like a right arse-kisser, I'm just a bit stunned by your ability, sorry, feel free to ignore xD

Don't know if this counts, but I can name the capital of every country in the World.

I picked up that habit as a kid reading the newspapers and it used to always list the country followed by the capital for the international news.

Amazing how little things like that shape and influence us in life.

I dabble in drawing & writing more so along the sci-fi/fantasy/superhero level. Haven't done anything heavy in quite awhile with either due to work and home life but I do some doodling and idea scribbling every now and again. I'm also a pretty decent cook.

You are so kind, X-box. Yes, I did work hard at developing my abilities over the years and wish my parents would have been more encouraging because Lord knows where I would be now. I have some other work on deviantart.com under the name paintedaugusta - it's a very schizophrenic collection lol. I really need to create another website and pare it down to the more professional stuff.

After I get my life situated in Louisville (job, proper place to live etc.), I will be setting up a studio in my apartment and getting to work on what I hope will be a big coming out exhibition. Hope to get some people to write about me, get my name back out in the "scene" here. I am not doing any art at the present moment and like disposableheroine, I feel just about useless when I am not creating art of some kind!

Of course I would love to do some commissions - if you know of anyone, please send them my way! What's the best way to post one's private information here? I don't really want it to come up in search engines, if ya know what I mean - a lot of people don't understand what this site is about.

Thanks again for your kind words, Xbox - they are not arse-kissing, they are encouraging! It's funny what you say about "seeing a different side of me" - sometimes I think I will never fit in, would never be anything, if it weren't for being an artist. People often dismiss me out of hand as pretty inconsequential until they have seen my work...wonder what I can do to change that. I'm too neurotic about my work to get all puffed up in the head about it, and there are many many finer artists than me all over the world.

Now that I'm more awake, I can actually think.

My biggest talent (as I mentioned before) is writing. I've written a lot of poetry & short stories. I've written a couple of plays. I always enjoyed writing research papers & articles about various subjects. I should've written several books by now (fiction & nonfiction). I've written more blood & gut stories than anything...probably from reading so much material from authors like Stephen King. I also like to write erotica. My poetry is all over the place as far as topics go. I've had a few things published (not in a long time though), but nothing I think of as all that significant.

    I'm a good cook.

I'm a good listener (unless it's listening to bullshit, then I lose patience).

I'm good at managing a business.

I'm good at being a smart ass.

    I have a creative & vivid imagination.

Now, managing a business - THAT impresses me Tamstrong!! I am absolutely no good with money or managing people/cashflow.

Thanks, SA. It's a lot of pressure sometimes, but I do have a knack for it. Sometimes I wish I owned some stores of my own, but I don't see it happening.

Oh well, I'd rather write books anyway. ;)

I used to study an atlas in an attempt to learn all the world's capitals but I never quite made it... But that's something I've always wanted to be able to do!

FG will tell you that I know the words to a LOT of songs :p

Acting and public speaking has always been my biggest talent... Won a fair few awards in my youth but haven't done anything with it in the last 8 years...
