White Women who are down with black culture but not black men?

I honestly can't understand why nigga pay so much attention to women who are not interested in them. It makes more sense to focus on the white girls who feeling us. That's what I do anyway.

I can see where Esoterik Dreadz is coming from. But at the same time you can't help what you like.

There's a difference in not being a girls 'type' and them rejecting you based on racist notions.

Kinda seems ED feels like he's being rejected more because he's black (and being associated with negative things of being black) rather than getting rejected because she's not a girls type. I don't know if that made much sense.

But doesn't mean I can't be friends with someone that doesn't find me date material. That's fine and it doesn't make me a sellout or anything.

Exactly, I have to agree with this aspect. If the girl said she wasn't his type, than that's fine. But to say your aren't attactive towards any race is racist because there is all types of any type of guy. No one is saying she can't have preferences, everybody has preferences, but to say no to an entire group of guys is racist because there could be certain guys in that race that is your type but you don't realize it because supposedly all individuals within that certain race looks "the same."

A perfect example, I have a greek friend who told me she traditionally doesn't like many black guys, but she thought reggie bush was gorgeous. Her preference is primarily hispanic men. Nothing wrong with that, because at least she keeps an open mind to the possibility of there being a possible romantic connection with a black man. But if she would've said she doesn't date black guys than it would've been a different story.

For example, my preference is primarily caucasian and latin women. But that's not to say I haven't found some fine black women or asian women around. The last two girlfriends I have were Asian. But I still have a preference.

So ultimately I agree with a certain aspect of the ops post in that I do also find it racist that a chick swore off all black guys, because unless she has came across all 18 million of us, I don't think she knows what we all look like.

 

Its obvious that these girls ED is talking about arent racist at all. They just werent attracted to him(and probably thought he smelled funny) so they came up with an excuse to turn him down.

I think you're right. Raul's OP for his topic made a bit more sense....I don't think there are very many people who adopt facets of culture just to ignore the specific people within them. And we're talking social norms, political standpoints, worldviews and attitudes, not just surface cultural things like food, media, and style.

And if a woman was highly into black culture and she didn't go out with black men....that wouldn't make too much sense. Perhaps she's worried about being disowned or shunned by friends or family.

I think the attitude comes from a segment who thinks we're good enough to entertain them and copy off of but mating is a totally different story. The dumb idea that some people aren't attracted to any race at all is plain stupid. Well, like I said, that really wouldn't make much sense anyway, if she's adopting another culture solely for her own understanding, rather than just for her enjoyment. That's the only guess, so I could be wrong.
