Fighting Off Advances

I do not know if it is because I'm in an IR marriage, but it seems that I have to fight off advances from other white women who see me in an IR marriage. I'm one who do not like to be rude or hurt feelings because I generally like the white women in my world whether it's at work, in the classroom, at martial arts, or in professional relationships. When I say "NO" I want it to mean "NO". When I say "I'm married" or that "you cannot have it" why do ladies not take the hint. Do I have to be nasty? Any of you guys having this problem?

Maybe some people just want what they can't have?

 

I do not think so. I treat women with respect. All women. I like conversation with them. I try not to get into that zone where I become to open to them. I'm happy with my family. My wife satisfies my needs and wants.

 

I feel you. I think that's normal and something you will always have to deal with. I often have to deal with certain BM who assume that I am open to a side opportunity with them just because I am in a relationship with a black man.

 

I think there is some truth in that. Some of the women I talk to want someone who they can talk their problems to. I listen. I try to offer advice if I can. Some of these ladies are involved with guys who are using them, do not open up to them, or not try to establish that connection many of them want like understanding of what troubles them or dealing with the stresses of life. I'' a listener. Maybe that is my problem.

 

I think this is a problem many of us in IR have to deal with. I think this deserves more discussion on dealing with this problem. It creates tensions in marriages or relationships, especially when these advances are done even in front of your mate. This is where true trust and understanding between you and your mate must be as strong as possible.

That is scary. I have not experience that type of aggressive physical approach. But I did have a situation where this lady would not take no for an answer. She was a married lady four years older than me. She once told me " I have something to offer and I do not like to be refused. I was afraid she was going to bait me into a situation in which she would blackmail me to tell my wife. I had to threaten her that I would I tell her husband. That would have been a risk for me.

 

I think this pretty much sums it up. However, I don't think most WW think that BM would be hollering stop like BlackTiger would. It's good to see this video because there are some WW do not think that there is any such BM like this and that all BM are unable to say no to them.

 

I think this is an insult to black men (not from you OpenHeart) that we black men are too weak to the advances of women. There are black men in committed loyal relationships to one woman. We are not all the same.

 

Has nothing to do with the race of your woman....this is just how it is bruh.

Whethere your wife was white, asian, black...and it has more to do with how attractive SHE is then how attracive YOU are.

you are a rare breed blacktiger...your wife is a lucky woman...lippy has had several married men make advance towards her...i am certainly not without blame because i have enjoyed the attention...for me it is about curiosity...the why? why would you do that to someone you have committed yourself to...why commit if you still want to play...i can't say that i have any answers...i do not begin to understand why a woman would push herself on you like that...you must be presenting some type of a challenge for her...

He's probably seen as the ideal husband and these WW think, oh, hes into us too! It's a shame that some people lack boundaries and have no respect for the sanctity of marriage. They love the challenge and think only of themselves.

 

Hello Lippy, it's a pleasure to communicate with you. I'm not a perfect guy. I have made my share of mistakes in my life. As far as my wife is concern I'm the lucky one. I sometimes feel I do not deserve her. She is always there for me and I will always be there for her and will do whatever not to hurt her. In as far as a challenge to lady in question I think it had to do with her always getting her way. She felt she was entitled based on her position. She is a section supervisor at a company I once worked.
Little tiger is growing fast. He is spoiled and rotten. You should see his room filled with toys. I love this kid. He is my life. I think my wife is jealous of the attention I give him.

AMEN! I think the problem with some of these women is their ego. They feel like they can get any BM they want and that every BM secretly lust for them but are just too afraid to admit it. The male ego can hardly be compared to that of a female ego such as this. I think it is good when one gets butthurt when rejected. The lesson is an unforgettable one.
