I Remember When...

I remember when the skating ring was cool and to have your own pair of skates you were super cool....

I remember when it was cool to be a ballerina.

I remember going to a movie in a church type hall and they sold candies for 5 cents.

I remember when knitted bikinis were in.

I remember when my mother had to iron my hair to get it straight. Yes she ironed it on the ironing board.

 

Those were the days.

 

lippy was all disco'd out with her satin pants/jacket...pom poms on the toe of my skates...couples skate was the best when boys would ask you to skate with them and hold hands
