strange rituals...

this is a play on bosox's thread on phobias...do you have any strange rituals?

for instance

i fold all my towels a certain way...as much as i love when my son helps with laundry it drives me crazy if the towels aren't folded the way i like them

loading the dishwasher a certain way...so more fits

i have a morning system for cleaning up around the house...

i have packing for trips down to a science...

 

My socks must be folded a certain way
My underwear must be folded a certain way

....before I start a new challenge I cut off all the hair on my body.

ha! actually got in trouble for it once. Going to work with no damn eye brows. ha ha ha

 

I don't know if this is one, but it's all I can think of right now:
I can't stop playing an online game, no matter what, until my score or coin (or whatever) count ends with a 5 or a 0.

 

Now I know I am gonna be labeled as insane for this one but here I go, I have to clean a restroom before I use it, no clothes on the floor, clutter, or anything like that because I don't like things too close to me when I using it, I like plenty of room so I may redecorate someones bathroom to use it then put everything back the way it was when I am done this even pertains to public restrooms of course not the ones with stalls, I usually avoid those if I have to do you know what and I have to take off all my clothes when I use it(aint nuttin worse than sweating to me while handling yo business) which is yet another reason I avoid public bathrooms with stalls when I have to do you know what and the colder the restroom the better, hospitals usually have the best ones in my opinion so bare and so cool!!! I know I am Krazy rite??!!!

 

Before I leave home for the day:

1. Bed must be made

2. Kitchen must be spotless

3. Bathroom sink must be clean

 

Only thing I can think of is that I prefer even over odd numbers and when going up or down the stairs most times I count steps and always wanna end up with an even number.If it's an uneven amount of stairs I just take 2 at a time and voila it's straight

My closet is color coordinated. I also have business clothes and regular clothes in separate closets and stuff is arranged by type.
I fold my underwear.

Like lippy, packing for business trips is down to a science and takes less than 10 minutes.

My facial ritual in the morning and night might also belong here w all the creams and stuff I use. Specific order etc.

I drink tea in the morning, followed by a cup of coffee.. every day!

 

Doesn't everyone? I've never met a person who doesn't. Even my hubby does it.

 

I kind of do that with time, I work in transportation and have to document my pick up and drop off times with my clients and I always feel compelled to document the times like 7:35, 7:40, 7:45, etc. using say 7:42 or something of that nature just feels wrong for some reason. I even do that with other things pertaining to time as well.

Ahhh, its nice to know I am not alone in my weirdness!!! LOL!!!

 

I thought so too, but I have been made fun of by many for that. boy shorts and thongs separated.
My closest friend make fun of my color coordinated towels and sheets folded just so as well

 

I got to agree with your friend color coordination is a bit too much for me.:?

Oh I know on some level I do and I aint got problem with that, I like order about somethings and then there somethings I could care less about there being order to!!!

 

Its just so much easier to find stuff when it is, doesn't take much effort to put them that way.
Towels goes in twos and they have to be the same color when I put them out in my bathrooms
Same w clothes, quick to find and I know what I have, where.

 

I play a certain game every night before I go to bed, but I don't need to end on a certain number score.

Do you really get totally undressed? Even at a friends house etc? That's a lot of effort.

I understand the colour cooirdination thing, I try to do that too. I don't have seperate closests though, but I find things through the colour system.

I don't like to wear anything more then once without washing them, yes even jeans. I like things smelling freshly washed... I am also like that with towels, I only like to use them once....

I don't think I have any strange rituals that I can think of other then I must MUST have a cup of coffee before anything else in the morning... If I think of something else I will post it later.
