I am afraid of small enclosed dark space. I don't like the feeling of being trapped. I also get this weird feeling when I am up high, for example if I am on the thirtieth floor of a building and look down from the balcony I get a weird sensation that I might jump off or fall. Can't explain it, I would never jump of course but I get that overwhelming feeling that I need to step back from the balcony wall and sometimes need to retreat back indoors.
This reminds me of another of my weird phobias: I HAVE to sit in the window seat of an airplane in order to feel "safe". I need that link to the outside world. If I'm stuck in the middle seat during a flight, I'm inwardly screaming. LOL. Btw, I get that same sensation when I'm up high, too.
Girl, we going camping!! And then I will sneak off in the middle of the night and leave you by your lonesome...:smt077
I've never been in a really small space to know if I'm claustrophobic but when I see it on a movie or something it freaks me out inside, heh. I don't want to say I'm afraid of heights, but if it's really high I have experienced a weird floaty sensation.
I'll second that!!! Thats a mighty weird feeling too!!! I have even caught myself crawling on all fours because the weird floaty feeling was too much!!! LOL!!
I'm the same way on an airplane. I have to sit by the window so I can look out. It probably doesn't make a lot of sense getting comfort from seeing the ground so far below & looking at the clouds, but if I'm unable to do it, it freaks me out.
LoL!! Aww! I could see me having to do that, but it'd have to be reaaaally high. LoL, right, just piss me off and I'm invincible. I thought of another one. I'm afraid to look in the mirror in the dark. Like something else is going to show up in the mirror that isn't supposed to be there. So if it's night time and I get out of bed to go pee and I don't want to blind myself by turning the light on, I'll leave it off and force myself to look the other way so I don't accidently see in the mirror as I pass it (like out of the corner of my eye or something).
Ha ha ha! I already did that, the Bloody Mary one too, when I was maybe 10 and nothing happened. So buck buck buck you bucker!!
Yeah I did that too when I was going through my suicidal teenage years, I remember really wanting something to happen then too!!! but seriously though I think a real phobia mine is if a body part stops working or weird stuff start popping up on my skin like a wart(I usually freak out!) or I start going bald or heaven forbid I lose a tooth!!! I guess a phobia of mines is my body falling apart as I get older thats really the only kind of stuff that REALLY scares me these days, I mean that really scares the crap out of me!!!
That movie still scares the crap out of me. When my dad thinks he's funny, he'll just randomly say "Chastity be my victim". I get pretty pissed, lol. My daughter thinks its hilarious.
I'm glad I'm not the only one! Even though the ground is 30,000 feet below, I still take comfort in seeing it whilst I'm flying. :smt023
