Exactly its like you lose all objectivity and engage in personal attacks. He make Newton sound like he is a gangbanging thug fresh out of state pen. Twice he made references to him being above the law and having problems with authority.

Warren Moon: Criticism of Cam Newton is 'blatant racism'

Pro Football Hall of Famer Warren Moon alleged this week that there is racism coloring the perception of top NFL draft prospect Cam Newton.

Moon told CBSSports.com that he is upset by depiction of Newton, the defending Heisman Trophy winner from Auburn, as being somehow unfit to run an NFL offense.

"A lot of the criticism he's receiving is unfortunate and racially based," Moon told CBS Sports. "I thought we were all past this. I don't see other quarterbacks in the draft being criticized by the media or fans about their smile or called a phony.

Upon reading the article again it makes sportswriter Nolan Nawrocki look very insecure more than anything. I wasn't gonna use the "R" word like Warren Moon did, but I'm just sayin.

Agreed. In fact, I believe he would have won this past Super Bowl, but that injury that he suffered at the one yard line was terrible to the point that I don't think he fully recovered from it before going back to play for the rest of the season.

Newton # 1 pick. I hope he is going to live up to the expectation.

Fuck that, I want a blk quarterback to dominate the league like pretty boy Brady. Newton is a 6'5 248 lb force of nature with`4.5 of 40 dash, a great charisma and smile that many cheerleaders would die for. This kid need to succeed in the league. His success is needed after craziness of Vince Young, lazyines of JaMarcus Russell, conviction of Michael Vick and murder of Air McNair. Newton's succeess in the NFL after a single college season (Div-I) which ended with college championship, MVP of the game and Heisman trophy will inspire thousand blk HS Quarterbacks.
