I kinda like Gaga but don't think she is an incredible artist. IMO she is a great entertainer.

I didn't say they were to blame for being hailed as heroes...I said they weren't heroes, and their existence is one of the reasons our society is going down the drain. Culture is not exempt, either.

I hate sports because they're mindless, stupid, ridiculous, trumped up 'games' that make no sense and have taken over the lives and televisions of America on the assumption that to be an athlete is great. Being an athlete is ephemeral..being educated is forever.

But yes, athletes are grossly overpaid...bunch of roided out pansies bitching about how they don't make enough money when they pull in millions each year...to work for a few fucking months. Are you SERIOUS? And we elevate these guys to some sort of hero/exalted person status? For what? Because they can fucking RUN?! Dude, come after me with a knife and watch how fast *I* run and pay me a slick 5 million, OK?

Some of those guys don't even finish school, and they're assholes. I've met players from the NFL and NHL.. assholes, every single one. Sure, there are exceptions to the rule, but heck, a bunch of the NFL players can barely speak a coherent sentence. How are they heroes?! HOW?!

Teachers should be making the millions each year...athletes should be working for a current teachers salary. 50,000 per year? Sounds good to me. All they're worth- then they'd actually have to play a sport and put effort into it instead of loading themselves up with performance enhancers they can no longer afford...but at least they'd be paid what they'd be worth. In fact, I think 35,000 would be more than enough for athletes.

LOL....the number of Australian troops that were in the war was less than a full US military brigade. The US asked for aid, NOT because we needed the forces....(AND...the placed that British and Australian forced were station were the LESS volatile....areas.

well obviously we were needed...we were asked to be there. and if we were there just for looks it's a very sad thing that australian soldiers died and their families have suffered for such a pathetic reason. bloody shameful actually. i certainly don't think it's a LOL situation at all.

No one is crying racism but I do notice how the media loves to demonize these young black athletes for doing what every single wealthy person in entertainment does. Waste fortunes and act the fool. I don't think teachers should get millions but I do agree they are under appreciated and deserve more pay.
You know athletes are heroes? They personify hard work to not notice or at the very least recognize speaks to the utmost ignorance DB. You honestly believe guys are just injecting themselves with steroids and then play like champions? Seriously? Come on you're smarter than that sweetheart.

And fyi the reason they complain about more money is they bring the owners hundreds of millions of dollars each year. Asking to be compensated accordingly isn't greedy its just being fair. If I made you a billion dollars a year I don't think asking for 10 million(1 percent for all you math whizes) is unreasonable.

As far as their arrogance is concerned I could do without it but its a hell of a lot more understandable than just being born and having a crown put on your head. It's earned, its worked for, Princehood isn't.

And btw when I call racism on something its not me just being a whiny child there's a lot of it out there and me calling it out is my duty.

Lady Gaga aint no genius but she is a smart business woman and a darn good entertainer. But the hoopla over prince william wedding is just asinine and ridiculous.
