At least those sweaty man beasts earned their position in life. They worked hard everyday of their lives. Much better than being remembered for being born into shit. Btw hater everyone will be forgotten at some point and that's real.

What's funny is you support spoiled entitled rich kids but look down your nose at people who actually work. Smdh

    Keep telling yourself that.

And BTW, no one has forgotten William the Conquerer....Or Queen Victoria, or Henry V, Or VIII....so, not everyone is forgotten. Just the people not worth remembering. I'm Okay with that.

You make a whole lot of assumptions about rich people for someone whos never met them. You don't know what they are really like, and assume the worst. How is that fair?

And "professional" athletes are one of the reasons this country is heading down the tubes. These people are not heroes.....the ability to inject steroids doesn't make you great. Please.

I don't think sports heroes will ever be forgotten. We are still talking about lots of great athletes that came almost a century ago, Babe Ruth, Jack Johnson, Jesse Owens, Lou Gehrig, etc.... They have broken racial barriers, helped to advanced their ppl cause, etc...Plus to be fair athletes go out there and bust their ass, challenge their mind and their body to be the best on what they do, they did not get things handed down to them in silver spoon.

Thing is i come from a former British colony and hence there is this affinity towards the queen consciously or subconsciously. I think some of you American have "royalty jealousy" because almost all continents have had royalty and still have it though it might not be as dominant as it used to be but America unfortunately never had that and wont understand the fascination people have with royalty.
So therefore when some of you say fuck the Queen or fuck royalty you are touching on some raw nerves hence the vicious back and forth on this subject.
I am going to watch the future king get wed to his future queen cuz in life sometimes you just need to live vicariously through people to take the daily stress away.
I can bet you i will be wondering if Prince William will be tapping that nice white ass in a royal doggystyle tomorrow evening after the endless dinners.

Wow talk about someone who doesn't know what she's talking about. Shame on you DB. Regardless of the propoganda surrounding sports and steroids. The vast majority of those guys have worked their entire lives to get where they are. It wasn't handed to them on a silver platter like the royals, the vast majority of those guys had to fight their way out of poverty to get where they are so for you to make light of their accomplishments and attribute it to just taking steroids is purely ignorant.

As far assuming the worst of the royals, I just called what they are spoiled rich kids who never had to work for anything. Why do you think they're so good? Because their mother wrote a few checks and appeared at charities?
When I critique them I'm not making shit up. By the definition of being royalty you're born into privilege you didn't earn and not only that you are taught that you are better than other people just because you're alive. Say want you want about athletes but at least their elitism is earned.

Well DB and many women might have royalty fascination but I'm not fascinated by entitlement. It breeds weakness. I am extremely proud and happy to be from a country where a man can start from nothing and become the President of the United States or become one of the most wealthy people in the world ie Barak Obama and Oprah Winfrey. All entitlement does is hold back well deserved talent from progressing.

Being on a successful at your craft doesn't make you a genius.

Lady Gaga and Justin Bieber are the most successful people in the music industry, are they geniuses?

Why are athletes to blame for being hailed as heroes? And wouldnt the blame be more appropriately cast on "culture" ?

Don't bother fam most sports haters usually just hate sports because they think athletes are over paid. Which is far from the truth, they get paid what the public allows, they don't set the standards the people do.

And its not like if their pay is cut in half, that money will vanish or go back into the audience's pockets. Mr. "Old Money" who owns the team would pocket that money. So why hate when the man with the talent has it instead?

Because America loves to villianize black men pure and simple. When sports were dominated by whites and when white actors use to do the same shit with money it was considered glamorous.
Elvis making his toliet solid gold is glamorous or even eccentric.
Master P does it it's niggerish.
Disgusting double standards. And on top of that they want to make these dudes responsible for other people's kids. Sad.

For someone to just make a blanket statement that these sports guys are no heroes or role models and are just steroid infested athletes is just pitiful and sad. You can hate sports but making such comical and dense statements in unnecessary.
