this used to happen to my bf when my son was little...my son blonde curly hair...blue eyes...if they would go places without me...my bf would always get questioned about...where did this little boy come from...does he belong to you...where is his mother...my bf would get so pissed off about all of the questions...same thing if his son was with me...people are just really ignorant...

Nope. He's one of those assholes who know how to push the boundaries into red restricted status and then doesn't post for a good while until he goes back into the green and then posts up shit. He posts up just enough to piss people off but not to get himself banned.

 

Mr. Fantastic - I've never had this as a child or parent, so I'm lucky, I guess. I look like the exact median point between my mother and father, and I could say the same for my son as compared to me or my ex. But nevertheless, it's still offensive as hell for someone to have to put up with.

And I can't help but wonder if the dynamics are the same if the black/white dichotomy is removed from the equation. I wonder how much a white parent would get harassed or questioned if the child was Asian (which is very common in many cities I've lived in, particularly among wealthier white liberal couples who can afford to travel and adopt children from Asia). You can't say that every single time a person asks questions it's because they're racist, but I would be curious to see if there's any difference in reaction.

It's interesting that you say that but I guess it comes from a place where blackmen are automatically doing something wrong because white people can have a kid of any ethnicity and its seen as charity but a bm with any non black child has to be doing something wrong.

The waiter questioned the guy for all of 10 seconds, once the guy assured him it was his daughter he backed down. Now if he was there solely to mess with the guy then don't you think he would've done more?

The first thing he did when he came up was talk to the girl and asked her if she was ok. Which supports my statement that he was concerned for the safety of the girl.



Not to mention how incredibly pointless the first clip was, when the 2 ladies talked to the guy at the park. What was wrong with that?
They logically assumed that the black man wasn't the father to the girl who looked 100% white. Then the guy gets bothered and leaves? lol
How were those girls at fault?

 

I seen this before (didn't watch it again) but I thought this one went well. It's was the white man with the biracial daughter that people treated horrible.

This has never been an issue for me and my husband and we have both biracial and white children. Seeing white women with mixed kids is pretty common and even seeing black men with white children is becoming more frequent. The two women I happen to hang out with right now both have have white and biracial children and so do I. Then men we marry/date will go in public with our white children.

The issue that I see is that its none of the waiters business who the child is and if he has a problem get his manager or the owner.

Great video, thanks for sharing I'm glad to see people are willing to speak up, to be honest. It sometimes seems like we live in a society where no-one wants to get involved. Especially in later scenes, the waiter was very much playing it racially and no-one should have to deal with that.

What's funny is that in most videos like this women are normally the ones to speak up. I wonder why.

 

ha my grandfather came to my promotion ceremony and people fell out. Old White guy, the father of my father....and I don't look like the *cough* mixed raced, fair skinned, bushy curly haired white dude.

each time it happens I have to bite my tongue so that my children don't see me flip out. What happened in the vedio could NEVER happen to me.

2] God doesn't like anyone that much to approach me with my child like that.

That is true. I never thought of that. How many white people would be bold enough to say something to a big black dude. I can see them calling the police before anything else and talking shit behind your back while they smile in your face and compliment the little girl.
