I understand where you're coming from completely.

 

It's not so much in my neighborhood as it is in my age group. Guys and gals who are nothing but friends get together for lunch often and it is not rare at all for a BM to handfeed a couple fries to a ww or vice versa.:smt102 I watched the commercial 2 more times after your reply and I still say it is vague. The Lowe's commercial is very evident. And so is the Ikea commercial.

Unfortunately, the media doesn't seem to understand this yet. This is apparent in the lack of romantic passion seen within television shows of IR couples and such. Had the media actually treat BM/WF couples like they actually existed, than you would have a point. But when hollywood constantly downplays the relationship, either by not showing them kissing, hugging, they always breaking up or never working out, or romantic interest but they don't even become a couple, than each posting such as this thread shows essentially one step closer of the media and hollywood actually treating BM/WF relationships like everybody else.

Yes, hopefully one day we'll come a time where BM/WF commercials become so common that we won't even need to post them anymore due to it being seen as normal. But as of now, with hollywood and such only recently increasing their display of BM/WF relationships, each one added is a moment of celebration of sorts.
