8 year old boy peppered sprayed

just off the top of my head...i would have isolated the child and removed all other children from his immediate reach...narrowed the number of people down to 2-3 that were interacting with him...if he distroys property so what...i would not have yelled or raised my voice...i would have stayed a safe distance from him...called the mother to come in...sometimes you just have to let kids wear themselves out when they are in full swing temper tantrums...offer him some type of distraction...drink, snack or activity he enjoys...wait it out until the storm settles

 

exactly. I was saying the same words in my head as I scrolled to see this...moreover, after all the Columbine & spin-off's, you gotta take even the little mutha fawkas seriously, crazy lil bastards. I would've been pissed as his mother though, because now everytime he gets in trouble, a scolding won't work, I'll have spray his ass...then he'll get immune and I'll have to buy an expesinve taser or bean bag gun...lol but I'm serious too lol

Used to be if you got in trouble at school they would send the kid down to the principals and paddle them. Then they took that away. There really isn't a lot to make them mind. Some kids are such shits that just talking it out is not an option. I would have closed the door and left him there and called his mom ...........said come get him. Now they are going to have a lawsuit with it being on the Today Show and GMA.

I would prefer a paddle, pepper spray or mace to having them pull a gun on a kid. At least they will end up alive.

I'm telling you, spray that lil bastard if he's out of line, I may be on the younger end (29), but I grew up in a houshold with very traditional conservative values as far as disipline...albiet pepper spray is a bit out of the norm, I was whacked with paddles drilled with holes, extension cords and threatened in with a pan. I'd like to think I turned out pretty "normal."
When I stepped out of line (AND I STEPPED OUT OF LINE), I was rightfully put back in me place.
