I agree orejon. I see it more with older people around here than people my age, thankfully. However, it still saddens me that in 2011 we are still having this conversation.

in some parts of the uk, some white familys will see the above guy no matter what, some of the white people here and dumb as fuck, its like " he must, rob, steal, stab people etc, never even actually giving him a chance to open his mouth, as soon as they see him all that crap runs through their minds, glad its only a few whites who do it though, alot of the time over here its no prob

that doesn't mean anything......racism is based on stereotypes, not on actual fact....most situations,some of the ppl on this board might have experienced,when someone meets their mates' family they have to deal with preconcieved notions that have nothing to do with you. if there is hostility from the get go, you know that speaks of a family that hasn't had black relationships on a interpersonal and intimate level. that sets you up for bullshit before you even introduce yourself.

 

I'd have to disagree. There was something I remember seeing that as a black male, if you have achieved a higher level of education, you are more likely to date interracially.

If you've got a higher level of education under your belt, you're more likely to be in the same situation as the second guy in Karma's reply, instead of the first.

Here's the quote. Note I thought it was me in the prior post that had engendered the attack. You said it was not me, then I stepped down. Then I saw further argumentative comments between you and Leksola, followed by a reference to you causing problems by both Mikesandy and flaminghetero. My statement with reference to that was:

You add friends who have 0 posts on the forum. It could really just be more accounts you create then add yourself as a friend off of. You can send me a friend request and I'll accept it. It doesn't mean that I'm really "friends" with you, only because it's you, and some users say the friend system doesn't really amount to anything. Friending people on Facebook has a lot more merit to it than if you friend people here.
