Hell yes, I didn't care for all those missed three pointers on both sides towards the end, but congratulations to the Bulldogs. --- A more realistic assessment of Fredette's talents. [HDYT]UtsJJw9j2bM[/HDYT] -- For anyone who missed it, and is interested, here is the Fab Five documentary that aired on ESPN. I'm not one to estimate their legacy as being too important, but they were somewhat of a milestone in basketball history. http://www.megaupload.com/?d=GTE3QVNF

Some material on the economics of college basketball. And an excellent report from Frontline on the question of exploitation in college basketball. http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/pages/frontline/money-and-march-madness/?utm_campaign=magazinenav&utm_medium=toparea&utm_source=toparea
Posts like these are why I love you. You need to talk to the Dean of Students about that. It's a Big Blue Nation out there, Raudi. Go Cats!!! :smt026:smt026 Never underestimate the heart of a Wildcat, GZ. There's nothing wrong with hoping, Mike.
Hopefully, you won't be disappointed come Saturday. I think that it will be a good game. UK is looking to avenge a prior loss so it should be very interesting. May the best team win. :smt062
I actually like UK & Ashely Judd, and they might be the champs.... just part of me is cheering for the under dogs. Eventho the last time the Wildcat was in final four was '98 (I could be wrong here) but we all know y'al are basketball power house but Butler not so much. Butler trip to final four was just last year and this one (I could be wrong here as well), so they are big time the underdog. Anyhoo, good luck.
Your optimism is cute, sweetie. How many NCAA Men's Basketball Championships do you all have again?? LOL
Two and we're about to make it three. You guys have 7 but five of them joints happened before any of the people on that team were born. Hell before I was born lol.
Thanks. I'm just teasing you a little bit. It feels like a lifetime since UK has been in the final four, and you're correct. It was 1998. I would love to see UK win it all, but if we are beat by a better team, we just are. We never anticipated making it this far. We were looking at this year being a rebuilding year and nothing more. The boys have come together and are playing their best ball of the season. Only time will tell if we can make this #8 for UK.
