the convo between me and gq was about who had it worst....blackmen or blackwomen during slavery until now...and I said if you gonna debate that you need some sistas. boy ...read things in its context. smdh
to debate like the two people were doing about "who had it worst in america back during slavery until now" you will need representatives from both sides....man and a woman. since it is about slaves then it would need to be a BW and a BM. to say a BM or a BW had it worst especially during slavery and thru the civil rights movement of the 60's and 70's is really a dumb argument. BW were raped beaten killed and seperated from their kids. men were beaten , killed lynched. both were targets of these things to be subjugated by the slaveowner and the racists system after slavery until the end of the civil rights movement. you can make an argument now who has it worst BW and BM because we are now subjugated differently
Goodlove, the site is called WhiteWomenBlackMen.com. The risk for having plenty of BW on here to debate the topic is too high. Most likely they will have conflicts with the BM and the WW who post on here.
lol the militant ones would have a field day on here annoying the bm and ww members with all kinds of crap
well some ppl wil just insult you because they are insecure about different opinions. some of them forget marginalization is the greates insult of all.....black ppl are 2nd class citizens, women are 2nd class citizens, so i wonder what that makes black women? most black women's beauty is considered ugly by a white dominated society. look at the fashion runways and tv. look at bleached beyonce and blond wig wearing nicki minaj........most white women don't fit the image, so how can black women compare.....to me most black women have to act a certain way just to make it. just look at the campaign, and how they talked about presidential candidates' spouses: bill was a former president, lizzy had the cancer, but michelle was nitpicked like she was running. again i believe it goes down to being a strong black woman. they were scared of hillary but shitting bricks over michelle. it was only after she was marginalized, did her approval increase.
GL was only stating that to make a fair argument about who had it the hardest, you would have to have both sides represented. This was not an statement posted to be literally acted upon. This was a statement for comparision sake in fairness. He didn't mean that someone should actually start a thread and black women to give their opinions about who had it the hardest during slavery. He was just saying that if you wanted to discuss which gender had it the worse then you would have to have both sides represented in all fairness. That can take place anywhere...not here specifically. Do you understand now? OMG!
