    This link below seems a more meaningful measure, it is the Scientific Nobel Prizes per capita.United States is in the 4th position. I think that is not bad, it is actually very good.But the Nordic countries are also doing exceptionally well too when you consider their size and the level of knowledge production taking place. It speaks more to their social policies.

    In knowledge production as a whole, I mean Nobel prizes, we have United States in the 11th position.
